Full Job Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Plans, directs, organizes, and leads all aspects of the operations and maintenance of the pharmacy.
Orders, supplies, and maintains an adequate supply of drugs to all nursing units.
Acts as a drug information resource for medical staff, nursing staff, and patients.
Report to work in a timely manner and adheres to policies, procedures, and processes.
Performs other job duties as needed and/or as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Five years of registered pharmacist experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
Requires a minimum of two years of pharmacy management experience (long-term acute care experience is preferred).
Basic computer skills are required.
Must be able to effectively communicate in English via verbal and written means.
