We are seeking a strategic, self-motivated, and results-oriented Director of Organizational Performance to join our leadership team. This director-level role is responsible for driving operational excellence, leading quality improvement initiatives, and strengthening organizational performance.The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who thrives on improving processes, ensuring compliance, developing staff, and stepping in wherever leadership support is needed as our organization continues to grow.
The Director of Organizational Performance serves as a strategic partner to the Executive Director, Director of Clinical Services (DCS), and leadership team to improve operational efficiency, enhance quality outcomes, and support organizational success. This individual will lead performance improvement initiatives, oversee quality and compliance efforts, provide leadership coverage when needed, and foster a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Essential Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program.
- Conduct clinical, operational, and compliance audits to ensure adherence to regulatory and organizational standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement initiatives that improve efficiency, quality, and operational performance.
- Analyze quality metrics, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.
- Serve as leadership support by filling in during leadership vacancies or assisting departments experiencing operational challenges.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director, DCS, and leadership team to achieve organizational goals and improve overall performance.
- Participate in new employee orientation and provide ongoing education and training for clinical and operational staff.
- Develop and facilitate staff education, leadership development, and competency training.
- Support regulatory survey readiness and assist with corrective action planning when needed.
- Lead special projects and organizational initiatives as assigned.
- Perform other duties as outlined in the job description.
Qualifications
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of protocol, procedures, and standards within area of nursing expertise.
- Ability to provide operational guidance and leadership to technical staff in area of specialty.
- Knowledge of related accreditation and certification requirements.
- Ability to assess educational needs and design and develop responsible curricula.
- Working knowledge of the use of established care models in the development of education programs.
- Technical leadership skills within area of expertise.
- Advanced nursing skills in area of specialty.
- Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient care programs.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present effectively to small and large groups.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively at all levels in a collaborative team environment.
