Director of Operations

MIND 24-7 is transforming behavioral health care by providing immediate, accessible crisis care in a 24/7 clinical environment. As the Director of Operations, you will provide operational leadership and oversight for two MIND 24-7 crisis clinics, ensuring our teams have the people, processes, and resources needed to deliver safe, efficient, and patient-centered care.
This is a high-impact leadership role for an experienced healthcare operations leader who thrives in a fast-paced behavioral health environment, develops strong leaders, uses data to drive decisions, and knows how to turn operational challenges into opportunities for improvement.
Your Role & Impact
• Lead operations for two crisis clinics, ensuring consistent execution of organizational standards and policies.
• Coach and develop clinic leaders, driving accountability for operational, workforce, quality, and patient care outcomes.
• Oversee staffing and workforce effectiveness, including scheduling, productivity, and coverage.
• Monitor patient flow, throughput, and capacity to improve efficiency, access, and patient experience.
• Manage operational and financial performance, including volume, labor utilization, productivity, budgets, and key performance metrics.
• Partner with clinical, medical, nursing, and administrative leaders to support coordinated, high-quality care.
• Ensure regulatory readiness, patient safety, and quality standards across clinic operations.
• Use data to identify opportunities and implement solutions that improve workflows, resources, and overall clinic performance.
• Lead during significant operational, staffing, safety, or facility events, ensuring effective communication and resolution.
What We're Looking For
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Behavioral Health, Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive healthcare leadership experience.
• 3+ years of behavioral health, psychiatric, crisis stabilization, or acute healthcare operations experience.
• Experience leading managers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience managing budgets, labor utilization, productivity, and operational performance metrics.
• Strong data-driven decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Current CPR certification and CPI/equivalent training or ability to obtain.
• Valid driver's license with the ability to travel between MIND 24-7 locations.
