Director of Operations

Location: Mesa and Phoenix, AZ | Multi-Site Leadership Role

MIND 24-7 is transforming behavioral health care by providing immediate, accessible crisis care in a 24/7 clinical environment. As the Director of Operations, you will provide operational leadership and oversight for two MIND 24-7 crisis clinics, ensuring our teams have the people, processes, and resources needed to deliver safe, efficient, and patient-centered care.

This is a high-impact leadership role for an experienced healthcare operations leader who thrives in a fast-paced behavioral health environment, develops strong leaders, uses data to drive decisions, and knows how to turn operational challenges into opportunities for improvement.

Your Role & Impact
Lead operations for two crisis clinics, ensuring consistent execution of organizational standards and policies.
Coach and develop clinic leaders, driving accountability for operational, workforce, quality, and patient care outcomes.
Oversee staffing and workforce effectiveness, including scheduling, productivity, and coverage.
Monitor patient flow, throughput, and capacity to improve efficiency, access, and patient experience.
Manage operational and financial performance, including volume, labor utilization, productivity, budgets, and key performance metrics.
Partner with clinical, medical, nursing, and administrative leaders to support coordinated, high-quality care.
Ensure regulatory readiness, patient safety, and quality standards across clinic operations.
Use data to identify opportunities and implement solutions that improve workflows, resources, and overall clinic performance.
Lead during significant operational, staffing, safety, or facility events, ensuring effective communication and resolution.

What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Behavioral Health, Management, or a related field.
5+ years of progressive healthcare leadership experience.
3+ years of behavioral health, psychiatric, crisis stabilization, or acute healthcare operations experience.
Experience leading managers and multidisciplinary teams.
Experience managing budgets, labor utilization, productivity, and operational performance metrics.
Strong data-driven decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain upon hire.
Current CPR certification and CPI/equivalent training or ability to obtain.
Valid driver's license with the ability to travel between MIND 24-7 locations.
