How you'll make an impact in this role- Lead daily clinical operations to ensure seamless unit workflows, high-quality patient assessments, and exceptional care delivery at every touchpoint.
- Build and mentor a high-performing nursing team by driving recruitment, onboarding, professional development, and continuous education initiatives that empower your staff.
- Define strategic department goals that align with broader health system objectives while maintaining the highest medical, legal, and ethical standards.
- Manage unit resources and finances by developing and monitoring budgets to ensure your team has the essential tools and support to thrive.
- Oversee continuous quality improvement by directing regular clinical audits and proactively addressing feedback to elevate the overall patient experience.
What minimum requirements you'll needLicensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider preferred.
- Registered Nurse preferred.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
- Master's degree or combination of Bachelor's degree and experience preferred.
Work Experience:
- 5 years of experience required.
- 10 years of experience preferred.
- 2 years of leadership or management experience required.
- 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
What additional preferences we're seeking- Skilled nursing or long term care (LTC) experience
- Wound care experience
