Director of Nursing responsibilities include:
- Oversight of the clinical care of all residents
- Ensuring continued adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations
- Management and oversight of all nursing staff
- Providing planning, organization, education, supervision, and evaluation of all services provided in the facility
- Ensuring that all department staff is properly trained to perform their required duties
RequirementsDirector of Healthcare Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of Director of Nursing experience preferred
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Thorough knowledge of state and federal regulations in long-term care
- Experience with the applicable state Survey Rules & Regulations, Medicare and Medicaid
