Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse licensure in the state of residency required
• Active CPR certification required
• Wound Certification preferred
• Infection Preventionist Certification preferred
• Three years of Long-Term Care or Rehabilitation experience
• One year of management experience
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop nursing policies, procedures, objectives, and standards of practice
• Prepare schedules within budget guidelines and assist with budgeting
• Maintain and prepare documentation as required by regulations
• Catalyze quality improvement initiatives
• Conduct daily rounds on residents and staff
• Ensure compliance with all regulations
• Foster a safe work environment and practices
• Oversee Comprehensive Resident Assessment and plan of care process
• Support training and evaluation of nursing staff
• Ensure adequate staffing through scheduling and evaluations
• Lead regular team meetings
• Maintain accurate resident census reports
• Assist with licensure and certification tracking
• Control budget for supply inventory and nursing costs
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members
• Support a culture of patient-centered care
