The National On-Site Operations Director is responsible for directing, planning, and leading operations for Lindes fleet of On-site plants in the US. The successful candidate will execute business objectives and strategies for the fleet of plants, ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant operations. This seasoned individual has expert knowledge of principles and practices within operations, and an understanding of business strategies and culture, and works to achieve results and drive performance on a national basis.This role directly manages two area directors as well as the onsite technical teams.
What you will enjoy doing*- You will ensure the safe, profitable, and reliable operation of facilities while maintaining strict compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Manage KPIs, costs, contracts, productivity initiatives, and cost reduction opportunities to achieve business objectives and drive results
- Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction and retention through adherence to contractual obligations and support regional leadership on contract renewals
- Further partner with engineering, senior leadership, and executive management to align product line designs, operating strategies, and cross-functional business objectives
- Oversee staffing, startup, commissioning, operational readiness, management of change processes, and response efforts during operational disruptions
- Also, lead, develop, and direct employees through training, coaching, performance management, process improvements, and organization-wide operational initiatives
What makes you great - You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Five or more years of operations experience and five or more years of management experience
- Moreover, you have proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders to achieve business objectives
- Demonstrated leadership, team-building, and decision-making capabilities in a fast-paced operational environment
- You are highly skilled in planning, organization, and execution, with a proven focus on delivering results.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate, develop, and lead a diverse workforce
