About the Job

Summary of Duties:

Direct and oversee all marketing, advertising, promotions, player development, public relations, and brand management activities. Develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns to increase guest visitation, customer loyalty, and revenue. Manage marketing budgets, vendor relationships, sponsorships, special events, and advertising initiatives while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and company standards. Analyze market trends and campaign performance, provide leadership to marketing team members, and collaborate with other departments to support organizational goals and enhance the guest experience.

Position Purpose:

The purpose of the Director of Marketing position is to provide strategic leadership for the organization's marketing, advertising, promotional, player development, and public relations efforts. This position drives brand awareness, guest engagement, and revenue growth by developing and executing effective marketing strategies, fostering customer loyalty, and ensuring consistent brand representation. The Director of Marketing works collaboratively with leadership and operational departments to support organizational objectives, enhance the guest experience, and maximize the effectiveness of marketing investments.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of marketing principles, brand management, advertising, public relations, promotional strategy, and digital marketing platforms.
  • Knowledge of player development, customer acquisition and retention programs, and guest engagement strategies within a hospitality or gaming environment.
  • Knowledge of market research, consumer behavior, competitive analysis, and campaign performance evaluation.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, financial analysis, sponsorship management, vendor relations, and contract oversight.
  • Knowledge of applicable gaming regulations, compliance requirements, and promotional guidelines.
  • Strong leadership, supervisory, coaching, and team development capabilities with the ability to motivate staff and drive departmental performance.

Education/ Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations, Hospitality Management, or a closely related field required. Master's degree in marketing, Business Administration (MBA), or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible marketing experience, with at least three (3) years in a management or leadership role, preferably within the gaming, hospitality, entertainment, or resort industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing comprehensive marketing, advertising, promotional, player development, and public relations strategies.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets, vendor relationships, agency partnerships, sponsorships, entertainment promotions, and special events.
  • Must possess strong strategic planning, organizational, analytical, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must possess excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.


Work Requirements:

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Gaming License.
  • Must maintain strict confidentiality and comply with all data privacy policies regarding employee and organizational information.
  • Requires problem solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Position involves prolonged walking, stooping, or bending, lifting, or carrying up to 50 pounds daily.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as required to support operational and promotional activities.
  • Work is performed in a casino environment with varying levels of lighting, air quality, noise, and / or temperature.
