Full Job Description
Director of Marketing - Multi-Unit Healthcare (DSO)

Company: American Dental Companies (ADC)

Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid) or Remote (U.S.)

Role Type: Full-Time | First Dedicated Marketing Hire

Target Base Salary: $155,000 - $175,000 base salary. depending on experience
Build the Marketing Function for a Growing Dental Organization

As ADC continues to expand, we are looking for our first dedicated Director of Marketing to build and lead a more unified, measurable, and scalable marketing function across the organization.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who understands how to drive growth across a multi-location business. You'll bring together a currently decentralized marketing environment, strengthen agency and vendor performance, improve patient-acquisition strategy and measurement, and build the foundation for ADC's future marketing capabilities.
What You'll Do
  • Lead marketing strategy across ADC, balancing enterprise priorities with the needs of individual practices and local markets.
  • Drive patient acquisition and marketing performance across digital and local channels, including paid search, SEO, Google Business Profiles, websites, reputation management, and specialty-service campaigns.
  • Consolidate and manage agency and vendor relationships, establishing clear performance expectations, improving results, and leveraging ADC's scale to create better economics.
  • Build consistent marketing measurement and reporting, including patient acquisition cost, channel performance, conversion, marketing ROI, and other key growth metrics.
  • Partner with doctors and operations leaders to identify market opportunities, improve practice-level performance, and establish repeatable marketing playbooks and best practices.
  • Build a scalable marketing function, developing the processes, tools, reporting, and ultimately the internal capabilities needed to support ADC's continued growth.
What We're Looking For
  • 8-10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including meaningful responsibility for digital and performance marketing.
  • Demonstrated success leading marketing across a multi-location or multi-unit organization. Healthcare, dental, retail, franchise, hospitality, or similar experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Ads, GA4, local SEO, Google Business Profiles, call tracking, attribution, CRM, and digital conversion strategies.
  • Experience managing marketing agencies, vendors, budgets, and performance-based relationships.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to connect marketing activity to measurable business results.
  • A hands-on leadership style-you can establish strategy and direction while still being comfortable working directly with campaigns, data, and performance when needed.
  • Strong communication and partnership skills, with the ability to work effectively with executives, operational leaders, practice owners, and external partners.
Why ADC?

This is an opportunity to build rather than simply inherit a marketing function.

You'll have visibility across a growing national organization, direct partnership with senior operating leadership, and the ability to influence how nearly 80 practices attract and retain patients. As ADC grows, so will the opportunity to shape the marketing infrastructure and capabilities that support the organization's next stage.

This position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and may be based hybrid in Phoenix, Arizona, or remotely within the United States, with periodic travel to our Phoenix support center and partner practices.
Compensation & Benefits
  • $155,000-$175,000 base salary, depending on experience
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
  • Professional development and growth opportunities
