Full Job Description
NeoGenomics is looking for a Director of IT, Office of Innovation who wants to continue to learn in order to allow our company to grow. This is a hybrid in office position in Ramsey, NJ, with the potential to be a remote opportunity. Position Summary: As the Director of IT for the Office of Innovation (R&D) you will serve as the strategic operational partner for the Digital Transformation Services (DTS) organization as the primary Business Relationship Manager (BRM) for the Office of Innovation (OOI) initiatives. Yoi will be responsible for building and owning repeatable, end-to-end product launch processes for both new and expanded indications, supporting ideation through commercialization of products across all systems. You will oversee large-scale concurrent projects, ensuring that new assay development, quality control frameworks, and regulatory submissions (e.g. MolDX) are supported by scalable, repeatable, predictable data and technology structures. The focus of this role is on automation and self-service wherever possible and practical, leveraging AI, RPA, and data intelligence to ensure each stage of the product lifecycle is optimized through technology. Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and own a flexible DTS launch framework that enables consistency, clear accountability, and a common language for successful launches across all product tiers and systems • Build continuous improvement and automation into launch framework • Communicate progress, key metrics and risks to stakeholders and leadership teams • Tailor launch execution to Product Tiers based on revenue potential, complexity, projected timelines and business plans, working closely across both DTS and functional teams • Act as the BRM for the Office of Innovation, partnering with OOI program management, product and project leads and operational counterparts to align IT resources with customer support and laboratory requirements, clinical data needs, commercialization, revenue cycle and medical engagement planning • Serve as the DTS lead on cross-functional Launch Readiness Reviews to present challenges, evaluate risks, and obtain senior leadership endorsement of launch execution and strategies • Oversee DTS operational readiness, including end-to-end testing, interface result reviews, and system integration into order-to-cash workflows • Define and track launch risks, ensuring completeness of deliverables and establishing clear issue resolution and escalation pathways • Constantly seek new ways of working leveraging automation, AI and data to drive efficiency across all domains • Manage and develop direct reports Education, Experience & Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required, preferably in a technical, data, information systems, life sciences, or business field; Master's degree preferred10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience with a heavy emphasis on program management, IT operations, and product launches. • Ability to travel up to 25% • Must be able to focus on business outcomes of technology investments • Be a master communicator with a transparent and comprehensive style • Project management and requirements elicitation skills, including process mapping, are critical • Healthcare, life sciences/pharma, clinical laboratory, or diagnostics IT experience strongly preferred • Demonstrated ability to manage complex initiatives and leverage automation and AI tools to improve processes; this is a hands-on role • Proven track record of managing highly complex portfolios and cross-functional teams • Familiarity with regulatory pathways and payer engagement submissions (e.g., MolDX, NYDOH) • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex requirements to technical and non-technical audiences Pay Range (will vary based on location & experience) $169,000.00 to 212,000.00 Annually, Plus Annual Bonus In all instances, the salary paid will satisfy minimum salary laws.
