DIRECTOR OF INNOVATION & AIDEPARTMENT: Corporate Administration

POSITION SUMMARY:The Director of Innovation & AI is responsible for identifying, implementing, and overseeing technology initiatives that improve operational efficiency, reduce manual work, enhance decision-making, and position the company as a leader in healthcare innovation.
This position partners with Operations, Clinical, Human Resources, Finance, Marketing, Admissions, Therapy, Revenue Cycle, and other departments to streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks, improve business processes, and leverage artificial intelligence and technology to improve organizational performance.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The following represents the essential functions of the Director of Innovation & AI role. - Lead company-wide artificial intelligence strategy and implementation.
- Identify automation opportunities across departments.
- Develop AI assistants and internal knowledge tools.
- Train leaders and staff on the responsible use of artificial intelligence.
- Ensure HIPAA-compliant AI governance.
- Analyze workflows and identify opportunities to eliminate inefficiencies.
- Assist with standardizing processes across facilities.
- Oversee systems integration, including PointClickCare, HR/payroll systems, finance systems, CRM platforms, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power BI, and other company systems.
- Develop executive dashboards for census, labor, quality, finance, admissions, occupancy, and other key operational areas.
- Implement automated reporting, compliance reminders, onboarding, recruiting, budgeting, and KPI tracking.
- Research emerging healthcare technologies and make recommendations regarding potential adoption.
- Lead enterprise technology projects and measure return on investment.
- Collaborate with department leaders to implement technology and automation solutions across the organization.
- Monitor the effectiveness and adoption of implemented technology initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS:Education and Experience- Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
- Five or more years of experience leading technology, innovation, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
- Experience with artificial intelligence platforms such as ChatGPT Enterprise, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Gemini, or similar platforms preferred.
Skills and Abilities- Strong knowledge of analytics, workflow automation, and project management.
- Ability to identify opportunities for technology and automation to improve organizational processes.
