Position Summary

Diversified Roofing is seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Human Resources to lead all aspects of the company's people strategy, talent initiatives, organizational development, and HR operations. This role serves as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, driving workforce planning, leadership development, employee engagement, safety culture, and business growth initiatives across a multi-location and brands.

The Director of Human Resources will play a critical role in supporting operational excellence, scaling the organization, integrating acquisitions, and ensuring the company attracts, develops, and retains top talent while maintaining compliance and fostering a high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Leadership
  • Partner with executive leadership to align HR strategy with business objectives and growth plans.
  • Provide strategic influence and guidance across all areas of the business.
  • Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
  • Develop and implement HR programs that support company performance, culture, and employee engagement.


Leadership Partnership & Succession Planning
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders at all levels of the organization.
  • Design and implement leadership development and succession planning programs.
  • Coach managers and executives on performance management, employee relations, and talent development.

Qualifications

Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including experience in construction, roofing, manufacturing, industrial services, or other field services environment.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with executive leadership on strategic business initiatives.
  • Experience leading organizational development, talent management, and succession planning programs.
  • background in benefits strategy, broker negotiations, and vendor management.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and employee relations.


Preferred
  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification.
  • Experience supporting multi-state operations and geographically dispersed workforces.
  • Experience leading HR components of mergers and acquisitions.
  • Experience in high-growth or acquisitive organizations.
