Primary Duties and
Responsibilities:The Director of Graduate Recruitment and Admissions provides leadership for graduate enrollment management for the Jack C. Massey College of Business for all graduate programs of study. These currently include the Professional MBA, Accelerated MBA, Healthcare MBA, Master of Accountancy, and Master of Science in Applied Analytics, as well as several dual-degree programs within and outside of Massey. This position partners with the Associate Dean for Academic Programs and Student Success to develop and execute recruitment, admissions, and yield strategies designed to achieve institutional enrollment objectives, strengthen program competitiveness, and support sustainable growth across graduate business programs. This position guides applicants from inquiry through enrollment, ensures accurate and timely application review, and supports recruitment and retention initiatives through outreach, events, and data tracking. The position works closely with Massey faculty, college leadership, graduate program directors, and campus partners to maintain an efficient, student-centered admissions experience aligned with institutional priorities.
Primary position responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Dean, Associate Dean, and graduate program directors to achieve enrollment objectives for Massey graduate programs. This includes conducting market research that identifies market opportunities, informs program positioning, and supports decisions regarding program competitiveness and growth. Collaborate with graduate program directors, faculty, and campus partners to align recruitment messaging, admissions criteria, and enrollment processes with academic and institutional priorities.
- Manage graduate recruitment and outreach initiatives, including communications campaigns, recruitment events, partnership development, and follow-up efforts designed to increase applicant engagement and enrollment yields. Plan and support recruitment and yield events, including graduate information sessions, open houses, fairs, and virtual programming, which may include evening or weekend responsibilities.
- Direct graduate admissions operations for assigned programs, including application review, verification of materials, and coordination of admissions decisions while maintaining a responsive, student-centered application experience. Cultivate relationships with prospective students throughout the recruitment and admissions cycle, responding to inquiries, guiding applicants through requirements and deadlines, and supporting enrollment decisions.
- Monitor and analyze enrollment funnel data, including inquiry, application, admission, deposit, and enrollment trends. Generate reports and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and continuous process improvement.
- Manage budgets related to graduate recruiting activities. Collaborate with Enrollment Services and Student Financial Services on available graduate scholarships and tuition discounts. Collaborate with Enrollment Services and Student Financial Services to make recommendations on graduate scholarships and tuition discounts. Award graduate scholarships and tuition discounts in consultation with the Associate Dean.
- Supervise Graduate Assistants and student workers, including assigning work, providing training and guidance, monitoring performance, and ensuring timely and high-quality completion of assigned responsibilities.

- Technical, Computer, and Software Skills: Ability to use Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and basic databases and software.
- Experience using educational CRM platforms like Slate and Business CAS.

Required EducationMaster's degree required, preferably in Business.
Required Experience1-3 years admissions/recruitment experience in higher education is required, preferably at the graduate level.
