Job duties and responsibilities:- Responsible for all finance functions including the preparation and control of records and data stored
- data, unused forms, the accounting for and comparison of operational data and forms, and
- supervision of the inventory of gaming chips, the issuance of credit, the main Cage, satellite cages,
- and the count room.
- Supervises all aspects of the Finance department.
- Approves credit under internal control section 609a.4
- Plans, communicates, and implements procedures for the overall efficient operation of areas of
- Reviews internal controls, standard operating procedures, and the company's policies
- and procedures and ensuring the department is complying with the regulation.
- Responsible for coordinating the accurate preparation and distribution of the property's budget and
- financial reporting. Monitors and analyzes results of financial performance.
- Reviews Financial Statements, supporting documentation, gaming-related data and information
- through online and manual documentation.
- Oversees all aspects of the property cash and accounts.
- Responsible for maintaining department compliance with generally accepted accounting principles,
- State & Federal government regulations, and internal controls.
- Reviews staffing levels to maintain optimum levels of employment. Responsible for the oversight of
- all aspects of the development, interviewing, hiring, and evaluating of Finance department
- Any other assigned duties and responsibilities
Detailed descriptions of experience or educational requirements:- Ten years' experience in casino accounting as a Controller or Financial Manager/Officer
- 4-year degree in related field or equivalent work experience
- Graduate degree MBA with finance management preferred.
- CPA or other professional accreditation preferred
- Must be able to receive and maintain all required certification.
- Must complete all the necessary company training.
