Job Summary

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Finance Director to lead financial operations for our Energy & Communications businesses within National Solutions.

This is a high-impact leadership role that partners directly with business presidents and senior leaders to drive performance, enable growth, and deliver actionable insights. You will play a critical role in shaping strategy, improving operational efficiency, and building a strong, collaborative finance team.

Job Location

This is an onsite role based at our Corporate Office in Atlanta, GA.

Job Responsibilities

Drive Business Performance
  • Own full financial accountability for P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow
  • Partner with senior leadership to influence decisions and deliver profitable growth
  • Identify risks and opportunities, and lead actions to improve results

Lead Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Collaborate with the National Solutions FP&A team to ensure forecasts, budgets, and monthly business reviews are completed accurately and on time
  • Develop KPIs and dashboards to track performance and inform decision-making
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights

Enhance Operational Efficiency
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability
  • Drive margin improvement through pricing, cost management, and productivity initiatives
  • Leverage systems and tools to strengthen financial processes

Ensure Strong Governance
  • Maintain compliance with financial policies, controls, and reporting requirements
  • Support audit activities and ensure accuracy and transparency in reporting

Support Growth Initiatives
  • Lead financial oversight of capital investments and track project performance
  • Support M&A activities including due diligence and integration
  • Provide financial analysis and business cases for strategic initiatives

Build and Develop Talent
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing finance team
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Partner across functions to support business success


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience, preferably in a public company and manufacturing environment
  • 5+ years of leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to develop and mentor talent
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to convert data into meaningful, executive-level insights
  • Proven communicator with the ability to simplify complex topics and influence decision-making
  • Demonstrated success driving process improvement and operational efficiencies
  • Experience with ERP and reporting systems (e.g., SAP, HFM)
  • M&A experience preferred
  • Strong collaborator with the ability to build relationships across functions and levels
