Job DescriptionThe Impact you will have in this role:The Director of Resiliency Architecture provides strategic leadership for enterprise-wide resiliency initiatives, ensuring technology platforms and applications meet stringent availability, disaster recovery, and operational continuity standards. This role influences architectural direction, drives adoption of resiliency patterns, and partners with senior stakeholders to embed resilience into modernization and cloud strategies.
Your Primary Responsibilities: - Define and champion the enterprise resiliency vision, aligning with business continuity and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain a multi-year resiliency roadmap integrated with cloud adoption and modernization programs.
- Establish resiliency standards, patterns, and frameworks for hybrid and cloud-native environments.
- Oversee architecture reviews to ensure compliance with resiliency principles and operational readiness.
- Lead enterprise-wide resiliency assessments, failure mode analysis, and chaos engineering exercises.
- Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned from incidents and gameday simulations.
- Partner with technology leaders, risk management, and business units to prioritize resiliency investments.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on resiliency posture and emerging risks.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team of resiliency engineers and architects.
- Foster a culture of reliability and operational excellence across IT and business functions.
- Proven track record in resiliency strategy, disaster recovery, and high-availability architecture.
Qualifications: - Minimum of 10 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

- Deep knowledge of resiliency patterns, observability, and automated recovery pipelines.
- Expertise in designing public cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions
- Strong understanding of financial services regulatory requirements for operational resilience.
- Proficiency in Java, Linux, SQL, and scripting for proof-of-concept development.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO 22301, NIST SP 800-34) and risk management practices.
The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations. Actual salary is determined based on the role, location, individual experience, skills, and other considerations.
