Full Job Description
As our Director of Credit, Americas, you will lead the credit organization in USCA and LATAM regions. You will focus on risk minimization of PPG's largest asset, account receivables, minimization of days sales outstanding and improvement in percent current. You will support global credit vision regarding standardization and globalization. You will conduct AI opportunity assessments across existing processes, cultivate and strengthen business partnership with SBU leadership and support implementation of global credit and finance tools, including SAP S4. You will also ensure controls and compliance, direct audit activities, maximize productivity and minimize cost while creating a highly engaged working environment. You will work a four day onsite, one day remote hybrid work schedule from our Pittsburgh, PA headquarters and report to the Global Director of Credit.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead compliance with key controls, SOX requirements, regional policies, and global credit policies
  • Develop and maintain partner relationship with SBU leadership by monthly and/or quarterly meetings, involvement in key customer discussions, and strategic and organizational communications
  • Exceed department KPIs and provide value added analysis and thought leadership to our organization and SBUs to minimize risk and bad debts
  • Develop an efficient and productive organizational design and structure for the Americas; focus on minimization of costs, utilization of shared services and cross SBU
  • Guide regional and global policy and process standardization within the Americas credit organization by working directly with global leadership team and global projects manager
  • Design, implement, and use technology solutions including SAP S4, AI and CFIN; serve as business process lead for global template and CFIN
  • Maintain and improve Americas engagement scores
  • Develop, mentor and guide Americas credit team


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required, focus on Business, Accounting, or Finance desired
  • 10+ years finance, accounting, business experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite and ERP experience such as SAP or Oracle
  • Credit and collection or cash application experience is a plus
