Get To Know The Team:SS&C Health is searching for a seasoned, forward-thinking leader to serve as our Director of Cloud Infrastructure. We're looking for someone who is not only deeply technical and strategic but also eager to stay hands-on while shaping the future of our cloud infrastructure and deployment ecosystem. This leader will play a pivotal role in uniting our DevOps and architecture teams, fostering a culture built on continuous delivery, operational excellence, and ongoing innovation.
What You Will Get To Do:- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives, with a focus on innovation, speed, and quality.
- Lead the Architecture and DevOps team in designing, implementing, and maintaining a scalable, secure, and efficient technology infrastructure that supports the organization's growth and digital transformation.
- Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning, encouraging the adoption of new technologies, tools, and methodologies that drive business value.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI and Machine Learning (ML) into our DevOps and delivery processes, ensuring safe, secure, and efficient deployment of solutions.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation plans to ensure effective use of resources and optimal return on investment.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring that solutions are designed and implemented with a focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks, ensuring that solutions are secure, compliant, and aligned with industry best practices.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, vendors, and partners, to ensure that technology solutions meet business needs and expectations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our technology landscape.
What You Will Bring:- 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, including server management, systems architecture, and DevOps practices.
- 5+ years in IT leadership roles, with demonstrated success building and scaling high-performing teams.
- Hands-on expertise with major public cloud platforms - AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure.
- Proven track record designing, implementing, and scaling CI/CD pipelines in production environments.
- Proficiency with observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Familiarity with modern data technologies, including Postgres and Kafka.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience leading infrastructure teams supporting Java Spring Boot applications at scale.
- Background integrating AI/ML tooling into DevOps workflows or delivery pipelines.
- Healthcare industry or regulated-environment experience (HIPAA, SOC 2, etc.) is a strong plus.

Jersey City, NJ: Salary range for the position: 185,000.00 USD to 235,000.00 USD. NY: Salary range for the position: 185,000.00 USD to 235,000.00 USD.
