The Director of Carrier Sales at NEXA will lead and expand strategic carrier partnerships across the Eastern United States, with a primary focus on strengthening and growing the company's relationship with T-Mobile. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing regional sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and aligning NEXA's mobility solutions with carrier priorities and customer needs. Serving as a key liaison between NEXA, T-Mobile, and other carrier stakeholders, the Director will collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and product teams to deliver tailored solutions, support go-to-market initiatives and ensure strong partner performance.
The ideal candidate is a results-driven sales leader with deep telecommunications experience, a proven track record in carrier sales and partner management, and strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills to influence internal and external stakeholders while accelerating growth across the region.
Responsibilities:
- Lead weekly pipeline reviews with T-Mobile regional teams to validate deal progression, identify blockers, and maintain accurate CRM forecasting for all carrier-driven opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with T-Mobile East Region account directors, channel managers, executive stakeholders, and strategic partners across T-Mobile's partner ecosystem.
- Develop account-specific growth plans for key T-Mobile business units or sub-channels, aligning quarterly revenue targets with finance and leadership and adjusting execution plans as needed.
- Create customized sales proposals, solution presentations, and internal bid responses for T-Mobile-led opportunities, including RFPs and RFIs.
- Schedule and lead monthly business reviews with T-Mobile stakeholders and represent NEXA in executive briefings to ensure alignment on long-term partnership objectives.
- Translate T-Mobile product requirements into actionable feedback for NEXA's product and engineering teams, while partnering with marketing, operations, and product teams to support go-to-market execution.
- Monitor T-Mobile promotional calendars and ensure NEXA solutions are included where applicable; provide sales enablement materials and training for T-Mobile sellers on NEXA offerings.
- Escalate and resolve operational or service delivery issues impacting T-Mobile customers, coordinating with internal teams to protect partner and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze win/loss data for T-Mobile opportunities to refine sales strategy, positioning, and future growth initiatives.
- Recruit and manage strategic partners within T-Mobile's partner ecosystem to co-sell the NEXA portfolio
- Employees will be required to adhere to NEXA's information security policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field.
- 12+ years of enterprise B2B sales experience, preferably in wireless, mobility, telecommunications, managed mobility services, or technology solutions.
- Proven success selling complex, consultative solutions to medium-to-large enterprise clients and navigating long-cycle enterprise procurement and contracting processes.
- Experience managing indirect sales environments, partnering with sales teams, and influencing cross-functional stakeholders to drive growth and results.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders and build relationships on a global scale with Fortune 1000 clients or partners.
- Demonstrated success leading large, multi-stakeholder deals from discovery to close, with proven negotiation and closing proficiency.
- Ability to plan, motivate, organize, and oversee work that moves others to action while balancing sound judgment with appropriate risk-taking.
- Collaborative leadership style with the ability to channel different points of view, create a team atmosphere, and achieve key objectives.
- Experience working cross-functionally with product and operations teams.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills and CRM expertise, with HubSpot preferred.
- Experience with Monday.com or another project management platform preferred.
- Experience with Android Enterprise preferred.
