Job Description

Reporting to the Assistant Dean for Advancement, Business Development & Partnerships, the Director of Advancement plays a pivotal role in advancing the mission of SPH through strategic philanthropic partnerships and alumni engagement. This position serves as a key leader in development operations and alumni relations, working closely with SPH leadership, central development, and other stakeholders to drive fundraising and engagement strategies that support SPH's priorities in education, research, and public health practice. The Director of Advancement is instrumental in: 1) Identifying and cultivating Annual Fund pipeline to increase participation, engagement and unrestricted revenue 2) Managing Alumni and friends communication platforms and developing innovative and creative outreach and event strategies to broaden SPH's philanthropic base of support 3) Managing friend-raising and fundraising events (Gala, Giving day) in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to increase participation and funds raised 5) Overseeing database coordinator/manager position to effectively inform campaigns.

Required Skills
