Overview:
The Director of Administration is responsible for leading the company's administrative operations, strategic procurement initiatives, workplace operations, and commercial vendor management functions across multiple business areas. This role plays a critical part in supporting operational scalability, infrastructure growth, and organizational efficiency in a fast-paced technology environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Corporate Administration & Workplace Operations- Office environment and workplace operations
- Facilities / property management
- EHS and workplace compliance
- Front desk and administrative support functions
- Workplace experience and operational support across departments
2. Strategic Indirect Procurement- Non-production procurement and vendor management (I'm not so sure about this part)
- Enterprise software / SaaS, IT systems, professional services procurement
- Office furniture, operational equipment, supplies, and labor protection materials procurement
- Supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, procurement process optimization, and cost control
3. Fixed Asset Management- Company-wide asset tracking and lifecycle management
- Establishing scalable operational controls and governance processes
4. Corporate Projects & Operational Excellence- Office expansion, renovation, relocation, and infrastructure projects
- Support for large corporate initiatives and events
- Process optimization, operational standardization, and organizational efficiency improvements
- Team Leadership & Organizational Development
- Build, structure, and lead the corporate administration and procurement organization
- Define team responsibilities, operating models, performance expectations, and career development plans
- Mentor and develop team members while fostering a culture of accountability, ownership, continuous improvement, and customer service
RequirementsQualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in administration, operations, facilities, or business management leadership roles.
- Proven experience managing facilities, procurement, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and project management capabilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead operational improvements and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience building teams, processes, and operational structure from 0 to 1
- Operate effectively in a fast-growing and evolving environment

- Ability to scale corporate operations alongside business growth
- Strong vendor management and strategic procurement capabilities, while still being operationally oriented
BenefitsSalary range: $160,000 - $230,000
