Are you an experienced Quality leader passionate about developing, implementing, certifying and excecuting nuclear quality programs? As Director, Nuclear Quality, you will play a pivotal role in establishing quality programs while building and managing the quality organization required to support nuclear project delivery. You will leverage your strong nuclear quality program expertise combined with practical construction and project execution experience. 

Collaborate with industry experts and committed teams to foster an environment that promotes understanding of project requirements and enhance client satisfaction 

• Lead development, implementation, certification, and maintenance of nuclear quality programs and procedures.
• Develop the roadmap for achieving applicable nuclear certifications, customer qualifications, and Certificates of Authorization.
• Lead gap assessments, internal audits, certification readiness, and external/customer audits.
• Build, recruit, and manage the nuclear quality team, including Project Quality Managers, Quality Engineers, inspectors, supplier-quality personnel, auditors, and turnover resources.
• Develop project-specific Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), inspection procedures, hold/witness points, and quality records requirements.
• Ensure quality requirements are integrated into Construction Work Packages (CWPs), Installation Work Packages (IWPs), fabrication packages, and field execution plans.
• Establish and oversee field inspection programs covering civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, welding, NDE, testing, and commissioning.
• Establish governance for welding, NDE, material traceability, special processes, calibration, inspection, and testing.
• Develop and manage supplier qualification, supplier audits, source surveillance, receiving inspection, and procurement-quality requirements.
• Establish processes for nonconformance management, corrective action, root-cause analysis, and quality performance reporting.
• Establish quality records and turnover requirements to support progressive project completion and client handover.
• Support estimating, proposals, and project planning by identifying quality staffing, certification, inspection, and compliance requirements.
• Interface with clients, regulators, certification bodies, Authorized Nuclear Inspectors, suppliers, and strategic partners.
• Promote a strong nuclear safety culture and practical, execution-focused quality systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of nuclear industry experience, including significant senior quality leadership experience.
• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing nuclear quality programs.
• Strong working knowledge of:
• CSA N299;
• CSA N286;
• CSA N285;
• ASME NQA-1;
• 10 CFR Part 50 Appendix B; and
• ASME Section III.
• Demonstrated experience managing quality teams on nuclear construction, EPC, fabrication, or major project delivery.
• Strong experience with ITPs, field inspection, CWPs/IWPs, welding, NDE, supplier quality, material traceability, NCRs, corrective action, and turnover.
• Experience supporting audits, certification, customer qualification, and regulatory oversight.
• Professional Engineer designation or eligibility in Canada.
• Experience obtaining or maintaining CSA N285 and/or ASME Certificates of Authorization.
• Nuclear Lead Auditor or equivalent qualification.
• Experience with Canadian nuclear utilities, U.S. NRC-regulated projects, major nuclear new build, refurbishment, SMR, or decommissioning programs.
