Kimley-Horn is seeking a skilled CAD Operator to join our dynamic Renewable Energy Team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our energy projects by utilizing computer-aided drafting (CAD) tools to create high-quality site plans and construction drawings. You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to company standards while contributing to meaningful renewable energy designs. This is not a remote position.

• Create detailed site plans and construction drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting software for renewable energy projects.
• Design and produce comprehensive sets of plans, maintaining accuracy and consistency throughout.
• Implement and manage drafting and plan preparation standards set by Kimley-Horn.
• Assist in maintaining and organizing the drawing database to ensure efficient access and updates.
• Perform routine checks and analysis to verify accuracy and quality of drafted designs.
• Develop familiarity with Kimley-Horn’s practices, procedures, and technical standards, ensuring all work aligns with project goals.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or related drafting software.
• Experience in drafting for infrastructure, civil engineering, or renewable energy projects preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, accurate deliverables.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adjust priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Salary Range:$75,000 to $90,000
