Summary of Role:

The Director of Large Case Management will be responsible for all aspects of client and account management for our ten largest corporate clients. These clients are currently responsible for over 60% of our group's revenue. The Director of Large Case Management will lead a team of four people responsible for the highest level of client satisfaction and retention through flawless annual enrollment execution, immediate addressing of all client ad hoc requests and deep product knowledge. The position will leverage internal, carrier and co-broker resources to deliver superior service. The Director will be responsible for the retention of these top clients and the expansion of our product offering to them. In this role, you will train and mentor client-facing members of our Account Management group. This group currently has ten employees. You will be a member of the Disability Product Group's Leadership Team. As such, you will be expected to contribute significantly to the strategic direction of the group as well as to the solutions of major tactical issues that arise.

This is a full-time remote position with the flexibility of a hybrid schedule for our NYC Wall Street office. During the first three months, a full-time in-office presence is expected. After three months, a flexible work arrangement will be coordinated at the manager's discretion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Gain a significant level of trust and confidence of our top ten corporate clients, which include several Fortune 100 companies. Be the trusted advisor for our clients on the specific benefits we enroll for them.
  • Retain all ten top corporate clients through the development of an indispensable personal relationship and exceptional VIP service.
  • Expand our product offerings at clients where this is possible. Goal to offer and enroll both individual disability and life with long-term care at all ten top corporate clients.
  • Build a four person team to support all the enrollment, administrative, and service for our top ten corporate client. Train and lead this team to be the top service-providing unit in our organization.
  • Be an expert at all aspects of our organization's enrollment and administrative services. Build relationships within our organization to allow fast leverage of functional areas to address client service issues.
  • Establish deep relationships with key insurance carrier partners in order to advocate for corporate clients and deliver service solutions quickly.
  • Establish deep relationships with co-brokers and/or internal Aon and NFP parties that are part of the corporate client's relationship for the products we enroll.
  • Set up regular training and mentoring sessions with client-facing account management personnel to increase and maintain the quality of service we provide to all corporate clients.
  • Work effectively with other Leadership Team members to address major organizational issues and set the strategic direction of the organization.
  • Be a leadership and inspirational example for the entire organization.

Job Specifications/Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • 15 to 20 years of corporate client servicing experience
  • Significant experience servicing large corporate clients in the Fortune 100
  • Deep knowledge of implementation and enrollment of individual disability and long-term care corporate benefits
  • Thorough knowledge of voluntary benefit enrollment best practices
  • Significant product knowledge of individual disability and long-term care
  • Superior interpersonal skills
  • Track record of assisting producers to sell and implement new benefits to an existing client
  • Five or more years of experience in managing and leading teams
  • Proven track record in establishing effective relationships with insurance carrier and broker partners
  • Experience working to set strategic direction
  • Understanding of insurance carrier dynamics and service models

The base salary range for this position is $175,000 - $200,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
