Director, Investor RelationsWe are looking for a Director, Investor Relations to help shape how we communicate our performance, strategy, and long-term value creation.
In this role, you will take a leadership position on the Investor Relations team during earnings season and throughout the year, serving as a trusted partner to senior leaders and a key voice with investors and analysts. You will combine deep financial expertise, strong market awareness, and exceptional communication skills to translate complex business performance into clear, compelling messaging for internal and external audiences.
In this role, you will: - Lead critical Investor Relations activities tied to quarterly earnings, including messaging development, presentation materials, and supporting analysis.
- Serve as a key representative in interactions with investors and analysts, helping communicate Expedia Group's strategy, performance, and outlook.
- Partner closely with executive management and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment, accuracy, and consistency in external communications.
- Coach and develop other members of the Investor Relations team, strengthening capability, judgment, and execution across the function.
- Monitor and interpret economic, financial, and market trends, and guide the team in applying those insights to the business and investor narrative.
- Bring deep expertise in markets, valuation, and financial analysis to assess company performance, competitive dynamics, and market expectations.
- Develop clear, concise, and audience-appropriate materials that simplify complex financial and technical topics for a wide range of stakeholders.
- Establish best practices for drafting, reviewing, and delivering high-impact communications that support business objectives.
- Lead publication review processes to ensure messaging is consistent, accurate, and aligned with Expedia Group's brand and organizational image.
- Synthesize investor feedback, analyst perspectives, and market sentiment into actionable insights for senior leadership.
- Help shape the long-term Investor Relations strategy, including stakeholder engagement plans and communication priorities.
- Help expand the use of AI across IR function
Experience and qualifications:- 8+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree
- Significant experience in Investor Relations, corporate finance, equity research, investment banking, or a related finance function.
- Deep understanding of financial markets, valuation methodologies, and corporate performance analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex information with clarity, precision, and strong audience awareness.
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders and working cross-functionally in a fast-moving, highly visible environment.
- Proven success developing communication materials for external and internal audiences.
The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $207,500.00 to $290,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $332,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
