This role will drive and own the strategy and product management for CHC's integrated clinical partnership portfolio, including oversight of Cigna's Digital Health Formulary (DHF) and a growing set of partner-delivered solutions across key healthcare categories and other emerging clinical and specialty care domains. This leader will be responsible for managing existing partnerships, identifying and evaluating new partnership and programming opportunities, developing business cases and investment recommendations, supporting contracting and implementation activities, and ensuring partnerships deliver measurable value and strategic alignment over time.

Working across a highly matrixed environment, this role will partner closely with Analytics, Clinical Program Development, Evernorth, Procurement, Legal, Finance, Operations, Go-to-Market, Digital, Technology, and Implementation teams to ensure partnerships are effectively integrated, operationalized, and delivering expected outcomes. The Director will lead a team of product professionals responsible for ongoing vendor management, portfolio strategy, performance governance, and strategic initiatives. A key focus of the role will be maintaining strong partner relationships while holding vendors accountable through disciplined performance management, including regular executive governance and quarterly business reviews.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic relationship and lifecycle management for a portfolio of external clinical vendor partnerships and solutions.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of product management and partnership professionals.
  • Own CHC's Digital Health Formulary strategy, governance processes, evaluation framework, and ongoing portfolio management activities.
  • In partnership with internal peers and key matrix partners, develop and execute multi-year strategies and roadmaps for existing and future integrated partnerships aligned to business, client, and member needs.
  • Build business cases and investment recommendations to support partnership expansion, new capabilities, and strategic growth opportunities.
  • In partnership with internal peers and key matrix partners, participate in vendor selection, due diligence, and cross-functional evaluation processes.
  • Establish and maintain rigorous vendor performance management practices, including governance structures, scorecards, and accountability frameworks, and identify opportunities to enhance, reposition, expand, or sunset existing partnerships.
  • Conduct regular executive governance meetings and quarterly business reviews to assess performance, outcomes, risks, and opportunities.
  • Partner closely with Analytics teams to define success metrics, measure outcomes, evaluate return on investment, and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Technology, Digital, and Implementation teams to ensure successful onboarding, integration, and scaling of partner solutions.
  • Partner with Go-to-Market, Sales, Marketing, and Customer teams to support solution positioning, commercialization, pipeline management, and client engagement activities.
  • Create a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Experience negotiating and managing vendor relationships, including performance management, contract oversight, and governance activities.
  • Strong product management discipline and experience leading solutions from strategy through implementation, optimization, and lifecycle management, in partnership with operations and technology teams.
  • Experience translating strategic concepts into actionable plans and measurable business results.
