THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Director, Insight & Strategy who will play a pivotal role in helping clients navigate complex business, communications and stakeholder challenges through insight-driven strategic counsel. This individual will translate data, research and audience understanding into clear points of view, recommendations and actionable strategies across brand, communications, public affairs and reputation-focused initiatives.

You will work closely with researchers, strategists and creatives to develop integrated strategies rooted in both creativity and analytical rigor. Central to this role is a deep fluency in translating complex information and data into clear, compelling narratives, recommendations and executive-ready deliverables.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Harnesses data, research and audience intelligence to develop strategies across brand, communications, public affairs and reputation initiatives.
  • Leads and guides the application of research, audience intelligence and analytics to uncover meaningful insights and strategic recommendations and deliver them through a storytelling lens.
  • Evaluates, interprets and challenges data and research findings to ensure recommendations are well-supported and strategically sound.
  • Translates complex information, research and analytics into compelling narratives, points of view and executive-level recommendations.
  • Produces high-quality strategic deliverables, executive presentations and written recommendations.
  • Designs and facilitates workshops for client audiences.
  • Collaborates with creative teams to ensure strategic consistency.
  • Serves as a strategic consultant to internal and external teams.
  • Mentors Managers and Associates within the Insight & Strategy team.


Additionally, the ideal candidate meets these qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in strategy, communications, consulting, analytics, account planning, audience insights, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience creating insight-driven strategic recommendations and client-facing counsel.
  • Strong writing, presentation and storytelling skills.
  • Experience supporting public affairs, issues management, reputation management or stakeholder engagement preferred.
  • Experience with audience intelligence platforms such as MRI-Simmons, Pulsar or similar tools is a plus.
  • Experience with AI-enabled analysis platforms such as ChatGPT and Claude.


The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. The final agreed upon compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including but not limited to: candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experiences and may fall outside the range shown. PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK CONDITIONS

The physical activity required of this position includes standing, walking, lifting, pulling, pushing, kneeling, reaching, stooping, talking, hearing and use of repetitive motion. Light work is required of this position, occasionally lifting or moving objects between 10-20 pounds. The visual acuity of this position requires the ability to operate a motor vehicle. This position will not be substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
