What you'll be doing...As the Director of Indirect Sales Partnerships, you are responsible for driving aggressive revenue growth and market penetration by leading the strategy and execution of our Agent, Vendor & Partner networks. You will serve as the critical bridge between HQ-led regional strategy and on-the-ground sales execution. This role requires a high-energy sales leader who seamlessly integrates field operational discipline with a relentless focus on achieving revenue targets. You will be the primary partner to Regional Sales Leaders, ensuring our indirect channel is a high-performing extension of our direct sales organization.
Key Responsibilities Include:- Developing and managing key relationships with HQ Agent Partners, ensuring performance targets are met and Verizon's brand and values are effectively represented.
- Driving HQ Indirect Partners sales to meet and exceed revenue goals by optimizing partner networks and ensuring partners are well-equipped with the necessary resources and support.
- Strategic Sales Leadership & Alignment: Partnering directly with Regional Sales Leaders to integrate indirect strategies into the broader regional sales plan. You will align local market tactics with corporate KPIs to ensure the indirect channel consistently contributes to and exceeds total revenue goals.
- Revenue Growth & Territory Execution: Leading the Indirect Partner Manager (IPM) team to execute sales strategies that translate directly into revenue growth. You will hold the team accountable for "owning" their territory outcomes, ensuring every field interaction is optimized for sales productivity and market expansion.
- Partner Network Optimization: Actively developing and managing relationships with HQ Agent Partners, moving beyond mere compliance to a model of mutual growth. You will coach and drive these partners to meet and exceed performance targets, ensuring the Verizon brand is effectively represented at the point of sale.
- Ensuring expectations are being met, give clear direction, and hold Indirect Agents accountable and responsible for driving revenue and increasing results.
- Operational Sales Enablement (30% Focus): Maintaining field discipline and operational compliance (e.g., POG, VRMSi, and SLA metrics) as the foundation for sales success. You will streamline the IPM workflow, ensuring that administrative and compliance tasks are handled efficiently to minimize friction, allowing for maximum time spent on sales-driving activities.
- Agent Partner Development: Developing and managing key relationships with HQ Agent Partners, ensuring performance targets are met and Verizon's brand and values are effectively represented. Ensure expectations are being met, give clear direction, and hold Indirect Agents accountable for driving revenue.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborating closely with internal teams including marketing, direct sales, and product development, and work closely with Indirect Operations to design and implement partner programs, incentives, and sales training.
- Executive Presence: Producing and presenting creative, compelling proposals, presentations, and business reviews to accomplish Verizon's key initiatives.

You'll need to have:- 8-10 or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
- 4 years of relevant work experience in a sales or commission-based structure.
- 3+ years of people management experience and growing & developing teams preferred.
- Experience managing external vendors, contractors, or overseeing SLAs and compliance metrics.
- Experience presenting to and interacting with executives, up to and including C-level.
- Willingness to travel up to approximately 50% of the time, including in-office days of Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday and required time in the field.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:- Proven track record of building positive, symbiotic relationships between corporate HQ, third-party partners, and decentralized field teams.
- Demonstrated strength in data-driven analytics and decision making, utilizing field KPIs to pivot operational strategy in real-time.
- Demonstrated experience successfully managing multiple dynamic priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, commissions-based environment.
- The ability to conduct meetings and train others how to manage complex relationships and sales/customer experience engagements.
- In-depth understanding of and experience with Wireless and Wireline products, services, processes, and systems.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is a commission based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
