Overview

Schedule: 8:00am-5:00pm; Monday-Friday.

We're looking for a dynamic, strategic leader to join our team as Director of Radiology Services. In this role, you'll oversee radiology operations across the market, lead high-performing teams, and drive initiatives that advance patient care, quality, safety, and operational excellence.As the Director of Radiology Services, you will provide leadership and oversight for one or more radiology departments across multiple locations within the market. You'll collaborate with enterprise radiology leadership and local market executives to ensure exceptional clinical, operational, and financial performance.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the key business leader for market team; seen as the subject matter expert and responsible for the development of partnerships and purposeful connections with team members, leaders, other departments, and external partners.
  • Serves as the administrative leader and liaison with all clinical department physicians, physician partners and activities; assists with the contract preparation, negotiation, and execution of radiologist agreements and execution of Market specific agreements where applicable; serves as the administrative representative to Medical Staff departments, sections, committees.
  • Oversees daily operations to ensure delivery of high-quality services and support. Provides ongoing monitoring and oversight to annually assess effectiveness of department and organizational outcomes.
  • Leads customer service and quality initiatives; evaluates outcomes and data to continuously improve operational processes, procedures & systems; integrates appropriate technology.
  • Establishes efficient, ongoing training and development programs ensuring compliance with regulatory/accreditation, and meeting quality, and safety.
  • Develops the annual budget and leads fiscal reviews of internal resources to promote an efficient and effective environment for all areas of responsibility.


Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare or related field required. Master's Degree preferred.

Experience: 3-5 years progressive leadership experience required. Director level leadership experience preferred.

License(s)/Certification(s):

Registered, licensed or certified in one of the following -
  • Valid license in the state(s) of practice as a Radiologic Technologist
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists as a:
    • Radiography
    • Magnetic Resonance Imaging
    • Radiation Therapy
    • Nuclear Medicine Technology
    • Vascular Sonography
  • American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography:
    • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
  • Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board:
    • Certified Nuclear Med Tech
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) (preferred upon hire; required within 30 days)
