Job Summary:

Mercury Systems is seeking an outstanding Human Resources professional that will partner with Operations and Mission Assurance. The Human Resources Business Partner Director will drive the talent strategy and execution for the business and functions within their assigned client groups. In addition, this working manager will lead a team of HR business partners. This individual will need to partner closely with peers across the business and matrixed organizations to deliver thorough talent solutions. The HRD will have accountability for multiple locations across the United States and in Europe. In addition, this role collaborates with the HR Centers of Excellence (Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management) and Workforce Solutions to deliver complete HR solutions to their internal executives, managers, and team members.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Partner to create and drive talent strategies that create a deeper bench and prepares talent for succession opportunities
  • Identify organization design opportunities and implement solutions that drive more effective and efficient structures
  • Oversee the strategic application of performance and compensation programs
  • Lead Change management process on values, mindsets, and behaviors as well as cross functional projects / HR related work
  • Ability to build strong relationships with business leaders and peers
  • Coach and advise senior leaders to implement actions that unlock organization performance
  • Embody Integrated mindset by connecting business and functions to drive the optimal approach to deliver business results
  • Partner with business leaders to ensure employees are empowered, engaged and accountable for delivering business results

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources or other related field

Minimum of ten years of experience in Human Resources

Experience conducting complex investigations, reviewing and implementing policies

Experience operating as a HR Business Partner supporting exempt and non- exempt personnel

Experience supporting Operations or Production facilities and leaders

Experience Partnering with COE''s

Exceptional communication and project planning skills

Ability to influence without authority

Must be able to travel up to 30%

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters in Human Resources, Business or other related field

Prior experience working in Aerospace & Defense

Experience working across a matrixed environment

Understanding of compensation, performance management and talent attraction practices

Previous management experience preferred
