Full Job Description
We welcome interested candidates based in either the Greater Vancouver Area or Greater Toronto Area.

Overview:

Reporting to the VP, Growth, we are seeking a data-driven Director of Growth to drive our acquisition, retention, loyalty, and lifecycle growth strategy across digital and retail channels. This role will own the full customer growth journey, with a strong emphasis on retention, loyalty, personalization, and long-term customer value while continuing to drive efficient new customer acquisition and omnichannel revenue growth.

The ideal candidate understands that sustainable growth is built not only through acquisition, but through creating meaningful, high-retention customer relationships across ecommerce, CRM, retail, and brand experiences. This leader will develop scalable lifecycle programs, loyalty initiatives, personalized customer journeys, and performance marketing strategies that increase engagement, repeat purchase behavior, and customer lifetime value.

This role partners closely with Ecommerce, Retail, Brand, Creative, Product, Analytics, and CX teams to build a connected omnichannel growth engine that drives both immediate performance and long-term business growth.

What you'll do:

Retention, Loyalty & Lifecycle Growth
  • Direct the customer retention and lifecycle marketing strategy across email, SMS, loyalty, and reactivation.
  • Design and optimize personalized customer journeys and automated flows based on customer behavior, engagement, purchase history, and lifecycle stage.
  • Lead loyalty and membership strategy, including program structure, customer segmentation, rewards, retention campaigns, and engagement initiatives.
  • Develop strategies to increase repeat purchase rate, purchase frequency, customer engagement, and overall customer lifetime value (LTV).
  • Build win-back and churn-reduction programs that improve long-term customer retention.
  • Partner with Customer Experience and Retail teams to ensure a seamless post-purchase and omnichannel customer experience.
  • Create retention-focused testing roadmaps across offers, messaging, timing, personalization, and channel mix.

Paid Acquisition & Performance Growth
  • Oversee omnichannel paid acquisition strategy across Meta, Google, YouTube, affiliates, performance influencer, retail media, and emerging channels.
  • Balance efficient customer acquisition with long-term customer quality and profitability.
  • Optimize CAC, ROAS, MER, contribution margin, and LTV:CAC performance metrics.
  • Partner with Creative teams to continuously improve performance content, messaging, and conversion-driving creative.
  • Develop audience, segmentation, and remarketing strategies that improve acquisition and retention outcomes together.

Omnichannel Growth & Retail Integration
  • Lead integrated growth strategies across ecommerce, retail stores, and other customer touchpoints.
  • Partner with Retail leadership to drive store traffic, omnichannel engagement, and connected customer experiences.
  • Build strategies that connect digital customer data with in-store behavior to improve personalization and retention.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer acquisition and loyalty through retail experiences, local marketing, and omnichannel campaigns.

Growth Strategy, Analytics & Optimization
  • Own growth forecasting, reporting, KPI management, and customer cohort analysis.
  • Establish testing and experimentation frameworks across acquisition, retention, and conversion funnels.
  • Analyze customer behavior and lifecycle performance to uncover growth opportunities and retention risks.
  • Partner with Data teams to improve customer segmentation, attribution, CRM infrastructure, and personalization capabilities.
  • Develop scalable systems and processes that support long-term growth and operational excellence.

Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing growth and lifecycle marketing team.
  • Foster a culture of experimentation, accountability, customer-centric thinking, and continuous optimization.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand, Ecommerce, Product, Retail, Analytics, and Creative teams to align growth initiatives with broader business objectives.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:
  • 7-10+ years of experience in growth marketing, lifecycle marketing, CRM, loyalty, or omnichannel customer growth roles.
  • Proven track record driving retention, repeat purchase behavior, loyalty engagement, and customer lifetime value growth for DTC and wholesale businesses.
  • Deep expertise in lifecycle marketing, customer segmentation, personalization, loyalty programs, and marketing automation.
  • Strong understanding of paid acquisition, performance marketing, and full-funnel growth strategy.
  • Experience scaling omnichannel consumer, retail, ecommerce, or subscription businesses.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, including cohort analysis, attribution, retention modeling, and experimentation frameworks.
  • Experience with Klaviyo, Shopify, GA4, PowerBi, Meta Ads, Google Ads,
  • Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution and operational rigor.

The compensation range on average for this position is from $145,000 - 160,000 annually. Base pay is dependent on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
