Director, Global Organizational Capability & Leadership to join team at our Irvine, California headquarters.
About the RoleWe are seeking a strategic and innovative leader to build and strengthen the organizational, leadership, and workforce capabilities needed to support a growing global business. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this role will shape how we develop leaders, accelerate workforce readiness, and create the learning culture required to support operational excellence, innovation, and long-term growth.
As a key member of the global HR leadership team, you will partner with business leaders across operations, commercial, engineering, and digital functions to design scalable capability frameworks, leadership programs, and learning strategies that align talent development with business priorities.
What You'll DoDrive Enterprise Capability Development- Develop and implement a global capability strategy that aligns workforce skills and leadership capabilities with business objectives.
- Partner with leaders to identify future capability requirements and build development solutions that support growth, transformation, and innovation.
- Establish frameworks and metrics to measure organizational readiness, capability growth, and internal talent mobility.
Build Leadership Excellence- Design and embed leadership frameworks that strengthen leadership effectiveness at all levels of the organization.
- Support succession planning and leadership pipeline development to ensure long-term organizational strength.
- Coach and enable leaders to successfully lead teams through change and transformation.
Shape Learning & Development Strategy- Create modern learning approaches that combine digital, experiential, and on-the-job development opportunities.
- Partner with learning and business leaders to build structured development pathways for leadership, technical, and functional talent.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and capability growth across the organization.
Enable Transformation & Organizational Effectiveness- Lead the people and capability aspects of strategic transformation initiatives, including technology adoption, automation, and process improvements.
- Develop change leadership capabilities that improve agility, accountability, and adoption of new ways of working.
- Leverage workforce insights and engagement data to strengthen culture, collaboration, and performance.
What We're Looking For- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in organizational development, leadership development, learning strategy, talent management, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated success designing and implementing enterprise-wide capability and leadership development strategies.
- Experience supporting global organizations through growth, transformation, and change initiatives.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders and drive enterprise-wide adoption.
- Proven ability to translate business strategy into scalable people, leadership, and capability solutions.
- Strong analytical, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.

Salary Range: 155,000.00 - 186,000.00 USD
