Full Job Description
Position Summary:

The Global Commercial Lymphoma Director is responsible for driving the commercial strategy for Breyanzi across international markets (ex-US). This role serves as a critical strategic and operational hub, connecting global brand strategy with local market execution to accelerate revenue growth, and maximize Breyanzi's lifecycle value.

This individual will bring strong commercial instincts, a deep understanding of the CAR-T landscape, and the ability to synthesize complex, cross-functional and regional inputs into clear strategic recommendations. They will work closely with the matrix team to ensure globally aligned, locally relevant execution. The role will report to the VP, Global Commercial, Cell Therapy, Hematology with a dotted line to the ED, Global Commercial, Cell Therapy, Lymphoma.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and drive the development of Breyanzi's global commercial brand strategy (ex-US), including market shaping, positioning, messaging, and competitive strategy in partnership with the rest of the Breyanzi brand team
  • Lead commercial opportunity assessments for lifecycle management (LCM) and geographic footprint expansion, integrating market insights, competitive intelligence, and pricing dynamics to formulate clear strategic options and recommendations
  • Translate market insights and performance data into strategic trade-offs and actionable recommendations for senior leadership and governance forums
  • Ensure market insights are continuously integrated into brand strategy evolution and long-term financial planning
  • Accountable for delivering ambitious revenue and patient targets for Breyanzi across international markets (ex-US), driving brand growth and class share across both established and newly launched markets
  • Partner closely with the Global Executive Director to shape strategic recommendations and support key governance decisions on high-impact topics (e.g., indication expansion, market and site activation, timing delays, slot allocation)
  • Serve as the primary global commercial partner to selected markets, ensuring strong alignment with global strategy while enabling locally relevant execution and accelerating performance through best practice sharing and cross-market insights
  • Lead commercial planning and execution excellence, including development of key enablement materials (campaign frameworks, messaging, competitive tools), oversight of agency management and budgets, and prioritization of congress presence and scientific engagement in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Foster a structured, insight-driven culture of continuous learning across the global commercial community
  • Act as a central point of coordination for patient advocacy and broader stakeholder engagement


Key Qualifications & Experience:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in biopharma
  • Bachelor's degree required; life-sciences-related discipline (or other scientific education) preferred
  • Advanced degree strongly preferred, including business and scientific (MBA,MD/PhD/PharmD)
  • Relevant experience in Hematology / Cell Therapy / Lymphoma is preferable
  • In-market and / or global launch experience and/or experience of managing brand lifecycle with proven track record of driving performance and executional excellence
  • Ability to operate and prioritize effectively in a dynamic, ambiguous environment
  • Experience working with customers and translating customer needs to the cross-functional development team is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of biopharmaceutical industry; possesses a global understanding of end-to-end drug development and commercialization processes
  • Abreast of scientific issues and market trends as they impact business development and strategic planning
  • Ability to work with cross-functional, matrixed teams, maintaining strong relationships and influencing outcomes
  • Ability to manage multiple demands and priorities on time, lead teams, gain alignment and drive decision making
  • Ability to conduct thorough analyses to support key asset cross-functional decisions
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Results driven, with excellent organizational, analytical, and planning skills
  • Effectively utilizes information technology systems and program management tools


Compensation Overview:

Madison - Giralda - NJ - US: $202,030 - $244,810Princeton - NJ - US: $202,030 - $244,810

The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee's work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.

  • Phoenix, AZ, Puerto Rico and Rayzebio Exempt, Non-Exempt, Hourly Employees: 160 hours annual paid vacation for new hires with manager approval, 11 national holidays, and 3 optional holidays


Based on eligibility*, additional time off for employees may include unlimited paid sick time, up to 2 paid volunteer days per year, summer hours flexibility, leaves of absence for medical, personal, parental, caregiver, bereavement, and military needs and an annual Global Shutdown between Christmas and New Years Day.

All global employees full and part-time who are actively employed at and paid directly by BMS at the end of the calendar year are eligible to take advantage of the Global Shutdown.

Summer hours are generally not available for field sales and manufacturing operations and may also be limited for the capability centers.
