Full Job Description
Position Overview:

The Director, FP&A (Clinical), will be a key member of the FP&A team reporting to the VP of FP&A. The focus of this position will be managing the planning processes and serving as the business partner to the Commercial organization and working cross-functionally to ensure accuracy of commercial revenue projections. This position will also be responsible for most financial modeling projects on the FP&A team and interact closely with the accounting team on the month end closing process.

Responsibilities
  • FP&A business partner to the Commercial, and risto-cel program.
  • Oversee planning cycle activities and review and ensure accuracy of plan data for all partner functions and programs.
  • Conduct monthly budget vs. actual analysis for partner functions and programs and finance/management results.
  • Track risks and opportunities to the annual budget and enter material changes into rolling forecast.
  • Assist in the overall budget, LRP, and forecast processes outside of partnership duties.
  • Partner with Commercial and Manufacturing to assess risto-cel commercial patient forecasts and pressure test assumptions and outputs.
  • Partner with Accounting and Commercial to assess risto-cel commercial revenue forecasts and pressure test assumptions and outputs.
  • Partner with Commercial to assess patient and revenue forecasts and pressure test assumptions for additional commercial launches and pipeline commercial opportunities.
  • Build and maintain complex, integrated financial models supporting long-range planning, valuation, and strategic decision-making to assess key business risks and opportunities.
  • Special projects as required.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or equivalent plus 15 years of relevant experience.
  • 8+ years of overall FP&A experience (2+ year commercial FP&A experience); biotech industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or equivalent plus 15 years of relevant experience.
  • Financial statement knowledge and understanding of US GAAP.
  • Strong team player that has a customer service approach and is solution oriented.
  • Ability to work within and meet all deadlines while executing on multiple deliverables.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Advanced financial modeling expertise with the ability to build models from the ground up in Excel and/or planning tools.
  • Comfort utilizing and incorporating available AI tools into work processes.
  • Advanced understanding of Excel, Adaptive Insights, and ERP systems (preferably NetSuite or SAP).


The salary range below reflects the full-time base salary range we expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Base pay will be determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, scope of job, internal comparisons, and market data.

Beam Pay Range

$210,000-$260,000 USD
