What you'll be doing

As Director, Fixed Income, Collateral and Margin Operations you will be responsible for leading the multiple teams supporting global fixed income settlements, margin and collateral activities, funding, billing and payments processing. This role is accountable for ensuring the effective, controlled, and scalable delivery of critical post-trade operations across multiple products, legal entities, jurisdictions, and market infrastructures. As Director, you will lead the global strategy for operations in support of, but not limited to, our collateral and Repo trading. You will lead a senior team responsible for the end-to-end operational support of fixed income and financing activity, with a strong focus on settlement integrity, intraday risk management, control discipline, client service, and regulatory compliance. You will act as a key partner to Front Office, Finance, Treasury, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and other infrastructure teams to deliver a resilient operating model that supports business growth and evolving market and regulatory requirements. As the incumbent, you will also be responsible for shaping and executing the future-state operating model, including process modernization, automation, capacity optimization, control enhancement, and the effective use of data and technology. Success in this role requires deep market and product expertise, strong people leadership, and a demonstrated ability to lead large-scale change in a complex capital markets environment. In addition, you will oversee resource planning, budgeting, unit costing, and prioritization to ensure the organization remains aligned to business strategy and enterprise objectives.

  • Oversee core operational functions - Ensure the timely and accurate execution of fixed income cash settlements, repo settlements, repo margin processing, payments, and associated operational controls. Maintain a strong focus on exception management, liquidity awareness, break resolution, escalation discipline, and service reliability across high-value and time-sensitive activities.
  • People Leadership - Lead and develop managers and senior team members across a broad operational mandate. Establish clear priorities, define objectives, and ensure effective execution against service, risk, control, and efficiency goals. Build organizational capability through coaching, succession planning, talent development, and ongoing performance management.
  • Compliance and Controls -Maintain a robust control environment by ensuring adherence to internal policies, regulatory expectations, market rules, and operational procedures. Continuously assess and enhance controls, reduce manual risk, and lead effective change governance across processes impacted by business growth, regulatory developments, and technology transformation. Oversee operational responsibilities tied to regulatory reporting and related governance requirements, ensuring completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and appropriate documentation.
  • Business Relationships - Develop trusted relationships with Front Office, Treasury, Finance, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and external market participants to support business priorities, resolve issues, and drive innovation. Act as a senior operations partner in strategic initiatives, product expansion, and platform change.
  • Industry Knowledge & Expertise - Demonstrate deep expertise in fixed income markets, securities financing transactions, repo settlements, collateral management, margining processes, funding operations, payments, and regulatory reporting. Maintain strong knowledge of market infrastructure, settlement networks, and industry developments impacting Capital Markets operations. Experience with platforms and infrastructures including Fedwire Securities and Funds, FICC, DTC, Broadridge Impact, FinPro, Apex, Arrow, CDS, Euroclear, GlobalOne, AccessEdge, Nexen, and related capital markets processing platforms is highly desirable.
  • Technical Skillset - Utilize data to drive change and effectively manage resources and risk. Data driven decision making to formulate strategic decision making as well as change and resources management. Integrating and modernizing existing service leveraging vendor tools/AI and internal AI capabilities.
