Full Job Description
About the Role
The Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will play a critical role in scaling DriveWealth's financial operations. The mandate includes establishing and maturing the FP&A function to support institutional-grade forecasting and achieving public company readiness. This director will be expected to own the development of comprehensive financial models, manage the annual budget process, and provide strategic insights into revenue drivers and cost structure. Success in this role means transforming complex brokerage economics into clear, actionable financial narratives for the Executive Team, ensuring transparency, predictability, and a "no-surprises" financial infrastructure. They will own critical decisions around financial planning processes, KPI definition, and the implementation of scalable finance technology. This is an opportunity to join a high-growth business at a pivotal moment, demanding disciplined execution and high integrity.

What You'll Do
  • Establish Foundational Processes: Design, implement, and manage the company's rolling forecast process, annual budget cycle, and long-range financial planning models to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Drive IPO Readiness: Contribute significantly to building a public company-caliber FP&A function, focusing on institutionalizing reporting, and creating the "no-surprises" financial infrastructure required for a potential IPO.
  • Analyze Business Performance: Partner closely with cross-functional leaders to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs), deconstruct complex fintech and brokerage unit economics, and deliver actionable insights on margin expansion, capital allocation, and partner profitability.
  • Tech Stack Modernization: Participate in the implementation and deployment of Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and Business Intelligence (BI) tools to automate reporting and improve the efficiency and scalability of the finance tech stack.
  • Support Executive Reporting: Prepare high-quality financial materials for the Executive Team and Board of Directors, effectively communicating the critical financial narrative and key operational metrics.

You Bring
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in strategic finance, corporate FP&A, investment banking, consulting, or financial strategy, preferably within a high-growth fintech or financial services organization.
  • Mandatory experience in a public company setting or direct involvement in taking a company through the IPO process.
  • Prior investment banking experience is highly preferred but not required.
  • Proven ownership of company-wide financial planning, forecasting, and comprehensive financial modeling.
  • Deep expertise in complex financial modeling, forecasting, scenario analysis, and deconstructing brokerage unit economics.
  • Experience building, implementing, and improving financial reporting systems and planning infrastructure (e.g., EPM/BI tools).
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for executives, boards, and investors.
  • Strong leadership instincts with a track record of partnering with senior executives, developing teams, and instilling operational rigor across the organization.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a relevant field; a higher degree (e.g., MBA, CFA) is a plus.
  • A track record of ownership and disciplined execution in high-stakes environments.
  • The ability to prioritize ruthlessly, focusing on what's critical versus important to drive work to completion.
  • Strength in cross-functional partnership with the judgment to coordinate across multiple teams.
  • Impeccable high integrity, sound judgment, and a deep respect for risk, control, and operational excellence.
