Job DescriptionDirector, Finance - Sales Finance & Public Company Readiness We have an opportunity for a Director, Finance to join our Finance team, based anywhere in the US, reporting to the VP, Finance. In this pivotal role, you will lead Sales Finance's core FP&A, public-company readiness, bookings governance, executive reporting, and M&A integration efforts. Collaborating closely with Sales/Worldwide Field Operations (WWFO), Finance, Customer Support, Professional Services, COE teams, and Rev Ops, you will shape data-driven decisions, strengthen processes and controls, support current and future acquisitions, and lead a geographically dispersed finance team in a highly collaborative environment.
Be a Contributor - What You'll Do - Serve as a strategic finance partner to Sales Finance, WWFO, and sales leadership to support growth and transformation goals
- Help drive IPO readiness by strengthening sales-finance processes, controls, audit support, and compliance across commissions, bookings, and related areas
- Lead core FP&A for Sales Finance, including long-range planning, forecasting, expense planning, and consolidation of geographic and regional forecasts
- Own WWFO OpEx and headcount budgets, monitor performance, analyze variances, and recommend actions to WWFO and Finance leadership
- Own monthly bookings accuracy, consolidation, reconciliation, and close, providing trend analysis and insights to Sales Finance leadership and the CRO
- Build and deliver operational, KPI, board-level, and e-staff reporting that enables informed decisions across Sales and Finance
- Serve as the primary finance business partner for current and future M&A, supporting integration and incorporation of acquired businesses into the operating model
- Partner with Customer Support, Professional Services, and Sales center of excellence teams, including Channels, hyperscalers, GSIs, Security, and Rev Ops
- Lead, develop, and mentor a team of financial analysts
- Use AI-enabled tools to build models and agents that improve planning and forecast accuracy, bookings and expense reconciliation, analysis, and executive presentations
Be Prepared - What You Bring - 12+ years of relevant experience in sales finance, FP&A, forecasting, long-range planning, and expense management within a technology/SaaS company
- Current public-company experience, ideally in sales finance; familiarity with IPO readiness, controls, audit, and compliance preferred
- Experience with bookings accuracy, consolidation, reconciliation, and commissions-related processes
- M&A integration and business partnership experience supporting acquired organizations and cross-functional teams
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills, including board-level reporting
- Ability to build trusted partnerships with sales leaders, resolve issues quickly, and influence decisions with sound judgment and integrity
- Experience leading and developing a team while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with Salesforce are required; experience with Tableau, Databricks, SQL, and Anaplan is preferred
- Experience using AI tools (e.g. Glean, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT) to build models and agents, improve planning and forecast accuracy, reconcile bookings and expenses, and create executive-ready presentations

Six Months: - Own WWFO and Sales Finance OpEx and headcount management, consolidating geographic and regional forecasts and presenting variance analysis and recommendations to WWFO and Finance leadership
- Establish reliable bookings, KPI, and metrics reporting, including monthly reconciliation and close, with actionable insights for Sales leadership, the CRO, and Finance
- Build operating relationships across M&A integration, Customer Support, Professional Services, Sales center of excellence, Rev Ops, and IPO-readiness workstreams while applying AI-enabled tools to planning and reporting
One Year: - Lead the WWFO and Sales Finance annual and long-range planning and forecasting processes, including OpEx, headcount, and geographic expense consolidation
- Be a trusted owner of bookings accuracy, reconciliation, and board and e-staff reporting, delivering timely insights that support decision-making
- Drive measurable progress on IPO-readiness processes, controls, audit support, and M&A integration for current and future acquisitions
- Be recognized as a strategic finance business partner across Sales, COGS, Sales center of excellence, and Rev Ops teams while leading and mentoring the distributed finance team
