Who You Are:

The Director, Enterprise Applications, is a senior technology leader who sets and runs Nutrabolt's enterprise applications strategy to support performance, scale, and long term growth. This role owns the operating model and roadmap for ERP and core business applications, EDI and trading partner connectivity, enterprise SaaS integrations, ERP data governance and master data, and custom applications that extend core platforms.

The Director partners with functional leaders to turn business priorities into clear road maps and reliable delivery. The role reduces application complexity, improves core processes, and strengthens governance and user experience. The role also sets a practical vision for AI across D365 and connected applications, with a focus on features Microsoft is delivering and the capabilities we can safely adopt.

What You're Good At:

Enterprise Applications Leadership and Strategy
• Set the enterprise applications roadmap for D365 Finance and Operations and connected systems based on business priorities and delivery capacity.
• Set standards for configurations, extensions, custom applications, and integration patterns so the ERP ecosystem stays supportable and scalable.
• Make decisions that balance uptime, compliance, and change speed across D365 releases, integrations, and trading partner connections.
• Partner with leadership to prioritize investments, modernization, and technical debt reduction.
• Set the vision and roadmap for AI enabled capabilities across the ERP ecosystem, with clear use cases, value targets, and guardrails.
• Drive readiness for Microsoft Copilot and related D365 capabilities, including data quality and change adoption.

Business Engagement and Operational Improvement
• Learn the needs of finance, supply chain, commercial, and operations teams.
• Improve order to cash, procure to pay, plan to produce, and record to report by fixing process gaps and system handoffs.
• Own intake and design for application changes, integrations, with clear requirements, test approach, and adoption plan.
• Drive improvements through process discipline, workflow automation, and better use of platform features.
• Run enterprise applications like products. Own the backlog, set priorities, manage releases, and track value delivered.

Applications Portfolio and Delivery Oversight
• Own D365 Finance and Operations, EDI and trading partner connectivity, enterprise integrations, ERP data governance and master data, and custom applications that extend core platforms.
• Lead managers, product owners, administrators, and external partners who run and deliver the portfolio.
• Ensure availability, performance, release discipline, and effective support.
• Improve system integration and continuity across internal platforms and external partners.
• Raise ERP and master data quality through clear standards and shared ownership with the business.

Transformation, Change, and Vendor Management
• Lead major programs, including implementations, upgrades, and stabilization after launch.
• Manage dependencies across business teams, data, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and external partners.
• Own release and environment governance for D365 and connected applications, including intake, prioritization, testing, deployment, and change control.
• Manage integrators, managed service providers, and staffing partners to clear outcomes, service expectations, and budget.
• Lead AI adoption for enterprise applications, including intake of use cases, vendor evaluation, solution design, rollout, training, and ongoing controls.
• Communicate status, risks, tradeoffs, and progress to leadership and senior stakeholders.

Team Leadership and Governance
• Build and lead an enterprise applications team with clear ownership, strong partnership, and consistent delivery.
• Set team structure, operating cadence, and clear performance expectations.
• Hire, develop, and retain talent, and raise the maturity of the applications function.
• Maintain strong change control, access management, data integrity, security, and resilience for enterprise applications.
• Partner with finance, audit, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams to support SOX controls and manage risk.

What You Contribute:
Required: Ownership of D365 Finance and Operations in a CPG, retail, or distribution environment with integrated systems and frequent change.
• 10+ years leading enterprise applications and ERP delivery, including people leadership and release governance.
• Deep knowledge of D365 Finance and Operations, including security, integrations, environment management, and release cadence.
• Strong EDI experience for trading partner onboarding, mapping, and support. SPS Commerce or DMEDI experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience connecting D365 with TMS, WMS, and custom applications using middleware or iPaaS, APIs, monitoring, and production support.
• Proven success delivering ERP and integration changes that improve close, inventory, fulfillment, or cost outcomes.
• Experience leading managers and cross functional teams through an enterprise applications operating model with clear intake, prioritization, testing, and release governance.
• Experience managing systems integrators, managed services, and software vendors across scope, budget, and delivery.
• Clear communicator who explains technical decisions in business terms.
