Location: San Francisco Bay AreaReporting to the SVP of Technology Partnerships and Enterprise Strategy, the Director, Enterprise Strategy & Corporate Development will help shape Siemens' technology strategy and translate it into growth initiatives, partnerships, investments, and potential acquisitions.
The role will focus particularly on AI and physical AI-including industrial foundation models, robotics, autonomous systems, simulation, digital twins, edge computing, and AI-enabled automation.
This leader will connect Siemens' global priorities with emerging technologies, companies, investors, and business models. Success will be measured by actionable strategic insight, effective portfolio decisions, and measurable business impact.
You'll Make an Impact By - Shaping Siemens' enterprise strategy for AI, physical AI, industrial software, automation, and related technologies.
- Identifying emerging opportunities across robotics, autonomous systems, digital twins, simulation, edge AI, and accelerated computing.
- Evaluating opportunities through a build, buy, partner, or invest framework.
- Developing a pipeline of acquisitions, investments, partnerships, and new-business opportunities.
- Leading strategic assessments, business cases, valuation analyses, and executive recommendations.
- Partnering with Siemens' M&A, finance, legal, technology, and business teams through diligence, approval, execution, and integration planning.
- Connecting physical AI capabilities with Siemens' industrial domain expertise, products, software, and customer base.
- Building relationships across the Bay Area technology, AI, robotics, startup, investment, and corporate development ecosystem.
Basic Qualifications - 10+ years of experience in corporate strategy, corporate development, investment banking, management consulting, venture investing, or a related field.
- Experience evaluating acquisitions, investments, partnerships, or new-business opportunities.
- Strong understanding of AI, physical AI, industrial technology, or enterprise software markets.
- Strong financial, valuation, business-case, and analytical capabilities.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in a global, matrixed organization.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications - MBA or another relevant advanced degree.
- Experience in physical AI, robotics, autonomous systems, simulation, digital twins, industrial AI, or automation.
- Understanding of the physical AI technology stack, from compute and models to simulation, edge deployment, and industrial applications.
- Transaction experience spanning strategic assessment, valuation, diligence, and integration planning.
- Experience developing build, buy, partner, and invest recommendations for senior leadership.
- Established relationships across the AI, robotics, technology, investment, and corporate development ecosystem.

The pay range for this position is $214,000 - $366,000 annually with a target incentive of 25% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
