What is the opportunity?

Join RBC's Enterprise Performance Management team to build and lead the data architecture that powers strategic decision-making for senior leadership, including the CFO, Group Executives, and Board of Directors. You'll deliver timely, insightful analysis that informs critical business decisions and supports long-term bank performance. Working across all platforms and business segments, you'll develop strong relationships with diverse stakeholders while driving continuous improvement in how we measure and optimize enterprise performance.

You will have the opportunity to develop strong relationships with colleagues across a diverse set of stakeholders including the RBC's Business Segments, Corporate Treasury, Financial Resource Optimization, Group Risk Management, RBC AI Group, Technology & Operations, and Functions.

What will you do?
  • Lead the design and implementation of integrated data infrastructure that consolidates enterprise performance metrics, financial data, and operational KPIs into a single source of truth.
  • Eliminate data silos and enable real-time visibility for executive decision-making.
  • Partner with finance leaders to understand strategic priorities and translate them into data architecture and integration roadmaps.
  • Bridge the gap between executive needs and technical execution.
  • Build trusted relationships across business segments, finance teams, and technology functions to drive data initiatives forward.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to define and execute the long-term data roadmap for Enterprise Performance Management.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance data capabilities that unlock strategic value and competitive advantage.
  • Own the end-to-end data integration roadmap and remove technical and organizational blockers.
  • Build dashboards, reporting frameworks, and data pipelines that enable strategic analysis and executive reporting.
  • Ensure senior leadership has timely access to trusted data that informs capital allocation, performance management, and strategic planning.
  • Build data foundations that enable AI and advanced analytics capabilities.
  • Synthesize enterprise performance data, strategic insights, competitive intelligence, and market intelligence into strategic briefs and deep dives for senior leadership.


What do you need to succeed?

Must-have
  • MBA or Master's in Data Science, Computer Science, or related technical field.
  • 7+ years progressive experience in data architecture, data engineering, finance technology, or enterprise data management within financial services.
  • Strong foundation in data architecture, data modeling, ETL processes, and centralized data platforms.
  • Advanced SQL and analytics skills; proficient with Python, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
  • Deep understanding of banking performance metrics, financial reporting, and capital allocation.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and communicate technical constraints to business leaders.
  • Proven track record building cross-functional relationships and driving alignment across IT, Finance, Risk, and business units in matrixed environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills: can diagnose root causes (technical, organizational, or process-driven) and deliver practical solutions.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity - knows when to pursue ideal solutions vs. deliver incremental value.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication; credibility when presenting technical concepts to executives and business requirements to technical teams.


Nice-to-have
  • Experience leading large-scale data transformation programs or building enterprise data platforms.
  • Experience with data governance frameworks and data quality management.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML data requirements and how data enables advanced analytics.
