Job Description Summary:

Breakthru Beverage Group (BBG) is in the midst of a major enterprise transformation to modernize our technology landscape, simplify enterprise integrations, and enable AI-driven capabilities across the business. As part of this transformation, we are building a modern, cloud-native technology ecosystem powered by SAP S/4HANA, Snowflake, AWS, and next-generation AI capabilities. A critical pillar of this strategy is establishing a secure, scalable integration platform that seamlessly connects enterprise applications, data platforms, trading partners, and AI agents.

We are seeking a strategic, hands-on technology leader to define and execute BBG's enterprise integration strategy while establishing the architecture, engineering standards, and governance that will serve as the digital backbone of the organization.

The Director, Enterprise Integration, EDI & AI Agent Platform will lead the teams responsible for enterprise application integration, APIs, event-driven architecture, EDI, managed file transfer, and AI agent integration. This leader will partner closely with Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Data Engineering, Data Governance, and the AI Center of Excellence to deliver secure, resilient, and scalable integration capabilities that accelerate BBG's digital transformation and enable next-generation intelligent automation.

Job Description:

This role follows a flexible hybrid schedule, with two days per week in the office and three days working from home. This role can be performed from any Breakthru Beverage Office Location.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Strategy, Architecture & Governance:
    • Enterprise Integration Strategy: Execute the enterprise integration strategy and approved roadmap established by Data & AI leadership, Enterprise Architecture, and the VP to support secure, scalable, API-first, and event-driven connectivity across the organization.
    • Implement Integration Standards and Governance: Maintain and ensure adherence to approved architectural principles, integration patterns, security requirements, development standards, and governance practices across the integration environment.
    • Enable AI Agent Integration & Governance: Partner with teams to implement approved integration patterns and controls that enable AI agents to securely interact with enterprise systems, APIs, and governed data.
  • Integration Delivery, Operations & Transformation:
    • Lead Integration, Platform Delivery & Operations: Direct the design, implementation, operation, and optimization of enterprise integrations, APIs, event-streaming, managed file-transfer, and EDI capabilities connecting SAP, Snowflake, Salesforce, Workday, Microsoft 365, customers, suppliers, and other enterprise platforms.
    • Deliver Transformation Initiatives: Lead the execution of integration workstreams supporting cloud, ERP, dta, AI, and digital transformation initiatives, ensuring delivery against approved scope, timelines, budgets, and business outcomes.
    • Drive Operational Excellence: Ensure highly available, secure, and resilient integration services through robust monitoring, SLA management, incident response, automation, security, and continuous improvement.
  • Leadership, Talent & Partner Management:
    • Build and Lead a High-Performing Organization: Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing team of integration engineers, architects, and EDI specialists while managing strategic technology partners and fostering a culture of engineering excellence, innovation, and accountability.
  • Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder's supervisor, may also be required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience in large scale enterprise integration, middleware, API, platform engineering, or integration architecture initiatives, including at least 5 years in leadership roles.
  • Deep technical expertise in modern integration architectures, including event-driven design, REST/GraphQL APIs, webhooks, API management, EDI/B2B integration, and cloud-native integration platforms. Hands-on experience with at least one leading iPaaS solution (e.g. MuleSoft) and a major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Proven success designing, implementing, and operating enterprise-scale integration platforms supporting mission-critical business applications.
  • Deep experience with API management, event-driven architecture, enterprise application integration, EDI/B2B integration, and cloud-native integration technologies.
  • Experience executing large-scale cloud, ERP, data, or digital transformation initiatives within complex enterprise environments.
  • Practical experience with AI-enabled development and operations, leveraging AI agents, MCP-style architectures, and LLM-based assistants to accelerate integration delivery, improve operational efficiency, and enhance developer productivity.
  • A strong mix of strategic thinking and hands-on execution - able to see the big picture, define the long-term architecture, and also dive into code when necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to guide decisions, simplify complexity, and represent Enterprise Integrations at all levels of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience within large Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), beverage, retail, distribution, logistics, or supply chain organizations.
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering.

Compensation:

  • $165,000 - $175,000 Salary Range
