Job Summary and Qualifications

  • You will provide strategic, operational, and clinical leadership for Diagnostic Imaging Services, including the Breast Care Center. This position plans, directs, and coordinates the daily operations and long term development of assigned departments to ensure the delivery of safe, high quality, patient centered care
  • You will be responsible for developing departmental policies and procedures, leading quality and performance improvement initiatives, managing capital and operating budgets, and ensuring the effective utilization of resources
  • You will recruit, develop, and retain a highly engaged workforce while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement, ensuring departments are appropriately staffed, operate within approved financial parameters, and consistently achieve operational, quality, and patient experience goals
  • You will be responsible for maintaining compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies, including those established by The Joint Commission, CMS, Medicare, and other regulatory agencies
  • This position develops and will maintain strong collaborative relationships with physicians, hospital leaders, and interdisciplinary teams to advance clinical excellence, improve access to care, and support strategic growth initiatives


What qualifications you will need:
  • B.A. / B.S. preferred, M.A. / M.S. preferred
  • Current California Certified Radiologic Technologist
  • Current ARRT
  • Active BLS Certification
  • Current CA Fluoroscopy
  • 3-5 Years Managerial experience
  • 5 Years in Radiology Services- theory and application of business development practices
  • Experience implementing successful Radiology Services business development strategies
  • In depth knowledge of Radiology Services standards of care and related issues; in depth knowledge of Radiology Services financial environment
  • Experience working in a managed care environment
  • Strong skills in problem identification, analysis, and solution development, with knowledge of current trends and development in business attained through seminars, trade journals and literature
