Full Job Description
The Director of Data is responsible for directing and overseeing the strategy, design, and development of enterprise data systems, including the Data Warehouse, Product Information Management (PIM), Data Governance, and Data Security. This role serves as the senior data leader within IT, partnering closely with business and technical teams to ensure data systems are scalable, secure, and aligned with organizational goals.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Develops and executes the enterprise data warehouse strategy, data governance framework, and data architecture roadmap to support business needs
  • Ensures successful integration of new data platforms with existing systems and infrastructure
  • Collaborates with internal teams to build and maintain data pipelines from source systems to analytic platforms
  • Provides expertise and strategic direction on core data governance principles, including data integrity, security, continuity, and ongoing maintenance
  • Leads the Data Warehouse, MDM, and PIM teams, providing direction, mentorship, and performance oversight
  • Partners with the Value Chain and Data Reporting and Analytics teams to ensure data quality and security standards are met
  • Evaluates emerging technologies and advises on the capability of systems to deliver business information
  • Oversees the design, development, implementation, and auditing of data warehouses to ensure quality control
  • Works with business stakeholders to identify and document candidate data sources, databases, and attributes that enhance the data warehouse

WHAT YOU'LL HAVE:
  • 10+ years of experience in Information Technology with a focus on data strategy, data analysis, data security, data warehouses
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IS, IT, MIS. Master's degree preferred
  • Possession of excellent critical thinking, problem solving, and proactive skills
  • Proven track record of successful engagement with senior leadership in a fast-paced, multi-project environment
  • Strong project management methodology background
  • Knowledge of industry accepted standards and best practices related to strategic planning

The Anticipated Base Salary Range for this position:

$170,000 - $190,000

Network has established a salary range for this position based on a combination of market data, industry standards and specific requirements of the role. The actual starting salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills and abilities.
