The Director provides strategic leadership, planning, and operational oversight for the Dallas College Promise Program. This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving a comprehensive, student-centered model that supports recruitment, enrollment, persistence, and completion outcomes. The role ensures alignment across enrollment management, student success, technology, and external partnerships to maximize program effectiveness, scalability, and impact.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

•Provide strategic leadership for the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Dallas College Promise Program.
• Lead the collection, analysis, and interpretation of program data to inform strategy, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making.
• Establish, monitor, and achieve performance metrics related to recruitment, enrollment, persistence, retention, and completion.

•Develop and oversee dashboards, reporting tools, and performance metrics in collaboration with institutional data and analytics teams.
• Ensure effective utilization and optimization of CRM and enrollment technologies (e.g., Salesforce, Navigate, Workday) to support student engagement, communication, and case management.
• Oversee operational management, including program policies, procedures, compliance, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Design and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, consistency, and service delivery across the student lifecycle.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with internal departments and external partners, including school districts, universities, business, and community-based organizations.
• Ensure coordinated, accurate, and timely communication strategies for students and families, including oversight of messaging, content, and digital student experience.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate staff; establish clear expectations and foster a high-performing, collaborative team environment.

Required Dallas College Professional Development Hours per Academic Year.

  • All employees are required to complete a minimum of 19 hours.

  • People leaders are required an additional 16 hours of leadership development.

•Perform other duties not listed as assigned.


The following duties are required for People Leader roles specifically:
•Exercises full discretion and decision-making authority in the recruitment, selection, hiring, mentoring, coaching, development & termination of staff, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, budgetary constraints, and workforce planning strategies.
• Drive high performance by administering the performance management process timely, setting clear expectations, conducting performance evaluations, and implementing initiatives that enhance employee engagement, motivation, and retention

Minimum and Preferred – Education, Experience, and/or Certifications

Required Qualifications for Role:
•Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (official transcript required)
• Five (5) to seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in higher education, enrollment management, student success, or program management
• At least one (1) year of supervisory or leadership experience
• Experience in operational planning, program development, and program evaluation
Preferred skills/experience:
• Master’s degree
• Eight (8) to ten (10) years of relevant experience

•Experience in project/program management and implementation of technology-enabled solutions
• Bilingual or multilingual skills preferred

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data and translate findings into actionable strategies.
• Experience with CRM systems and data platforms used in higher education to support enrollment and student success outcomes.
• Knowledge of program assessment, evaluation methodologies, and continuous improvement practices.
• Ability to develop and implement operational processes and policies that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively engage diverse populations and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of K-12 to higher education pathways, college readiness, and access initiatives.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners to achieve shared goals.
• Demonstrated commitment to equitable access to education and student success.


Work Condition Environment / Physical Requirements

•Work is primarily performed in a standard office environment with routine use of computers and office equipment.
• Position may require prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and/or working at a computer.
• Occasional local travel may be required for meetings, events, or outreach activities.
