Full Job Description
Director, Integration Program Management Office (PMO) Project Lead - San Francisco, Chicago, New York (Hybrid)

We are seeking an experienced Integration Program Lead to join our Consulting practice in a full-time role with one of JLL's premier financial services clients. Our Consulting practice combines forward-thinking strategy development, practical implementation, and structured program management. As a result, we deliver creative, cost-effective, streamlined solutions that not only look good on paper, but work in practice - helping our clients achieve lasting competitive advantage.

In this role, you will primarily serve as a Program Management Office (PMO) Project Lead supporting campus transformation initiatives in the San Francisco market. As part of a Global Integration Program Team, you will also support broader transformation initiatives focused on end-to-end organizational process improvements, integrated governance frameworks, and additional PMO efforts across regional implementation teams and construction and consolidation projects.

The Director will be responsible for managing individual projects and workstreams within the Integration Program framework, with oversight and support from the Global Integration Program Lead. While the bulk of responsibilities will be leading the PMO effort for the San Francisco market, additional accountabilities may include leading regional integration forums, owning updates to the regional councils, and acting as the point person to develop regional process improvement report-outs for key leaders and stakeholders (among other things). The ability to be self-sufficient, accountable, responsive, and comfortable with direct client interactions will be paramount to success in this role, as well as knowing when to pull in the Integration Team Lead for support.

What This Job Involves

  • Lead, shape, and govern a cross-functional team across real estate and non-real estate partners to drive progress via a unified program following the guidance of the Global Integration Program
  • Stand up structured PMO standards, governance, methodologies, engagement models, and tools for cross-functional program execution across construction projects and regional execution
  • Establish stakeholder mapping across partners, business units, and leadership, acting as the single point of aggregation and dissemination of information across all parties
  • Build and present data-driven insights and shape communications and reporting to translate operational issues and updates into relevant stories for executive and business unit consumption, enabling quick, effective decisions and alignment
  • Onboard all cross-functional team members and leaders and evolve the program to ensure sustained active participation and engagement
  • Design and lead large interactive workshops to encourage collaboration and enable joint objectives and priorities across cross-functional participants
  • Oversee and advise on major real estate and workplace consolidation activities from strategy through planning, construction, and implementation
  • Work with the Program Core Team and workstreams to assemble consolidated roadmaps, operational plans, risk trackers, action plans, and reporting templates (in alignment with Global Integration Program guidance)
  • Manage program interdependencies, risks, and issues, and other escalations across multiple concurrent workstreams and initiatives
  • Act as a trusted advisor to program sponsors and functional leads, providing strategic guidance on operational and strategic challenges and helping them navigate complex conversations and decisions
  • Support program teams in translating business operational requirements into planning and programming requirements
  • Develop and monitor program performance metrics, KPIs, and dashboards to track program health
  • Compile and analyze program lessons learned, improvement opportunities, and stakeholder feedback to identify strategic recommendations
  • As part of the Global Integration Program Team, actively participate in team meetings and support regional program integration, process improvements, and other PMO projects as needed

Key Competencies

  • Executive presence: Strong communication skills, with the ability to proactively identify opportunities to engage stakeholders and to command respect, influence, and build credibility with lines of business, program sponsors, and senior stakeholders
  • Strategic program thinking: Capacity to develop innovative program management and stakeholder engagement solutions for complex program delivery challenges
  • Project and program management and real estate/workplace foundations: Strong understanding of tools and methodologies from diverse approaches (e.g., Waterfall, Agile) to develop optimal solutions
  • PMO adaptability: Flexibility to scale program management operations in dynamic environments and adjust governance frameworks to changing program needs
  • Program leadership and acumen: Ability to apply program governance principles to guide program teams, mentor program managers, and drive portfolio initiatives to successful completion
  • Multi-hatted team player: Ability to lean into ad hoc efforts as needed and take ownership of multiple initiatives across varying landscapes
