About the Role:

The Director, North America Campaign Marketing is a strategic leader responsible for translating Gartner C-Level Communities' global marketing strategy into scalable, high-impact campaigns across North America.

This role leads a team of Campaign Marketing Managers focused on driving qualified demand, executive engagement, and community growth across Gartner's CIO, CISO, CDAO, CFO, CHRO, and CSCO communities.

As a player-coach, this leader will combine strategic oversight with hands-on execution; ensuring campaigns are insight-driven, audience-centric, and aligned to Gartner's standards of excellence.

What you will do

Drive Regional Campaign Strategy and Execution:
  • Translate global marketing strategy into a North America campaign approach that supports business growth and community expansion
  • Lead development of role-based, persona-driven campaign strategies grounded in Gartner research and client priorities
  • Deliver integrated, multi-channel campaigns that drive:
    • Qualified leads
    • C-level engagement
    • Community registrations and participation
  • Operationalize segmentation strategies that reflect industry, role, and buying group dynamics


Lead & Develop a High Performing Team:
  • Manage and develop a team of North America Campaign Marketing Managers
  • Serve as a player-coach, actively contributing to campaign strategy while elevating team performance
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Establish clear performance expectations aligned to business outcomes and C-level member impact


Partner Across Gartner C-level Communities:
  • Collaborate closely with Community Program teams to align marketing with C-level engagement strategies and member value
  • Partner with the International Campaign Marketing Lead to ensure consistency with global standards while helping to adapt for regional variances
  • Work cross-functionally with Community, Content, Marketing Operations, Database, Design, Product, and Analytics to align priorities, messaging, and performance goals


Deliver Measurable Business Impact:
  • Own North America campaign performance with a focus on:
    • Qualified Inbound lead contribution
    • Conversion rates and funnel efficiency
    • C-level audience growth and engagement
  • Leverage data, testing, and insights to continuously optimize campaign effectiveness
  • Communicate performance, insights, and recommendations to senior stakeholders


Enable Scale & Operational Excellence
  • Develop scalable frameworks and best practices for campaign execution across your NA portfolio of C-level communities
  • Ensure alignment with Gartner C-level Communities' marketing operations, tools, and governance standards
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, personalization, and speed to market


What you will need:
  • 8-12 years in B2B campaign marketing, demand generation, or integrated marketing, preferably in a subscription, insights, or services-based business
  • Experience marketing to senior executive audiences (C-suite strongly preferred)
  • Proven success leading high-performing marketing teams and delivering measurable business results
  • Experience operating within a global, matrixed organization
  • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to connect research insights to marketing execution
  • Deep expertise in audience segmentation, persona development, and lifecycle marketing
  • Data-driven with strong analytical and performance management skills

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 120,000 USD - 167,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates. We also offer market leading benefit programs including generous PTO, a 401k match up to $7,200 per year, the opportunity to purchase company stock at a discount, and more.
