Job DescriptionAs a Director, Commercial and Alliance Partnerships you will develop and maintain relationships with partners who are strategically important for the US Generics business by developing and maintaining relationships with commercial and BD&L partners. To gain a deep understanding of the partners strategy and operations in order to deliver success and drive the highest standards of engagement. Ensure effective governance of partner relationships and help to drive long-term value to Sandoz.
Position Location:This position will be located at the Princeton, NJ US Headquarters site.
Our Sandoz flexible hybrid working approach allows US office-based employees to work up to 50% of their monthly workday remotely. This role will not have the ability to be located remotely.
Travel Requirements: 20%U.S. Work visa sponsorship not available for this role. Must have U.S. work authorization.
Your Key Responsibilities:Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Deliver against the US organization's strategies and plans/objectives.
- Execute against the organizations objectives by supporting the management of alliances to enhance value of the relationship and manage partnership risks.
- Drive business growth through proactive management of strategic partnerships for the US Generics Business to create alliance value and manage partnership risks.
- Participate in due diligence, build an extensive contacts network, oversee evaluation of partnerships at multiple levels.
- Lead business growth through the re-negotiation/negotiation of transactions (e.g. License deals, out license, Co-development etc.) and take part in drafting contracts.
- Manage stakeholders, present to internal leadership teams and drive internal consensus on opportunities while supporting formal governance processes and seek and obtain approval for appropriate deal opportunities.
- Adhere to internal BD&L processes to ensure quality and consistency of all activities throughout the lifetime of the partner relationship in accordance with process guidelines.
- Carry out day to day project management for projects relating to Commercial and Alliance Partnerships, including the prioritization of activities and support the prioritization of projects in accordance with strategic priorities.

What you'll bring to the role: Essential Requirements: - Bachelor's degree
- A minimum of 5 years of Pharmaceutical industry experience, some of which has been in BD&L or Alliance Management roles
- Experience must encompass more than one functional area (e.g. product development, regulatory affairs, product management, marketing, business, development, finance, investment banking, consulting etc.).
- Understand the basics of pharmaceutical forecasting and competitive dynamics in the pharmaceutical industry
- Understand the basics of financial analysis and product P&L modeling
Preferred Requirements:You'll receive: The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between
$179,300 - $332,900 USD/year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/26 through 12/31/26, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
On September 30, 2021, Sandoz entered into a 5-year Corporate Integrity Agreement. Certain positions will have responsibilities to support the execution and adherence to CIA obligations, CIA-related deliverables, and any relevant audit, monitoring or Independent Review Organization (IRO) remediation.
