OverviewThe School of Nursing is shaping the next generation of nurses who will serve the communities of Greater Boston and beyond. As Director of Clinical Education and Nursing Resource Center, you will lead the infrastructure that makes that preparation possible - setting the standard for simulation-based learning, clinical placement strategy, and faculty-led skills development across the nursing program.
Reporting to nursing program leadership, you will direct the day-to-day operations and long-term vision of the Nursing Resource Center while championing excellence in clinical education across undergraduate and graduate pathways. You will lead the design, scheduling, and quality assurance of simulation and skills lab experiences aligned with current accreditation standards (ACEN/CCNE), while building and sustaining clinical placement partnerships with hospitals, community health settings, and specialty sites throughout the region. Overseeing Resource Center staff, adjunct clinical faculty, and lab operations, including equipment and budget stewardship, will be central to your role, as will using outcome data to evaluate clinical education effectiveness and drive continuous program improvement.

- Minimum of eight years of nursing clinical experience, including at least five (5) years of progressive leadership or administrative experience in nursing or health professions education
- Demonstrated knowledge of clinical education management, simulation, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements
- Experience with online testing and remediation platforms (e.g., ATI, NCLEX preparation tools)
Preferred Qualifications- Doctoral degree (DNP or PhD) in nursing or a related field
- Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) certified
- Experience with CCNE accreditation processes and state board regulatory requirements
Working LocationThis is an onsite position in Salem, MA with on-campus, in-person responsibilities, which may require occasional work on evenings and weekends.
