Position Summary

The Director, Analytics will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping how data is translated into insight, foresight, and intelligent action across the enterprise.

This role is accountable for building and scaling outstanding, AI-infused analytics capabilities that drive fact-based decision-making and measurable business impact. The Director will partner closely with business leaders to ensure analytics is not just delivered—but proactive, and embedded into how decisions are made every day.

This is a highly visible role at the intersection of business, data, and technology, requiring both strategic vision and execution excellence.

Responsibilities

Shape the Analytics & AI Vision

  • Define and foster a forward-looking analytics strategy infused with AI and advanced analytics capabilities
  • Position analytics as a differentiator, enabling faster, smarter, and more anticipatory decision-making

Deliver Insights that Drive Intelligent Action

  • Lead the development of scalable analytics solutions, including dashboards, sophisticated analytics, and AI-enabled insight products
  • Translate sophisticated data into clear, actionable, and forward-looking insights
  • Elevate analytics from retrospective reporting to forward-looking, AI-enabled decision intelligence.

Be a Trusted Business Partner

  • Partner with senior leaders to shape decisions using data, analytics, and insights
  • Act as a strategic advisor, bringing external outstanding analytics and AI
  • Anticipate business needs and proactively find opportunities to improve performance

Drive Adoption & Business Impact

  • Ensure analytics solutions are intuitive, accessible, and broadly embraced
  • Champion self-service analytics and AI-enabled decision support
  • Define and supervise success metrics, clearly linking analytics and AI initiatives to business value

Establish Trust, Consistency & Governance

  • Ensure analytics outputs are accurate, explainable, and aligned to enterprise definitions and standards
  • Partner with Data Product teams to maintain a consistent and trusted data foundation
  • Build confidence in analytics and AI as trusted enablers of decision-making

Transform Analytics Capabilities

  • Lead the evolution of analytics tools, platforms, and ways of working to support AI-enabled use cases
  • Standardize scalable approaches while enabling flexibility across business domains

Lead and Inspire Talent

  • Build and lead high-performing analytics teams with capabilities spanning BI, advanced analytics, and AI
  • Foster a culture of curiosity, experimentation, and innovation
  • Attract and develop top talent in analytics, data science, and digital domains

Qualifications

Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent University degree required; Advanced degree preferred.

Required

  • Minimum ten (10) years of relevant professional work experience
  • Experience in analytics, data, or business intelligence
  • People leadership experience
  • Consistent track record of delivering enterprise analytics solutions that drive business impact
  • Strong ability to influence senior partners and drive data-driven decisions

Preferred

  • Experience with sophisticated analytics, AI/ML, and modern BI/visualization tools
  • Experience working with data product and data platform organizations
  • Strong executive communication and storytelling capabilities

Other:

  • May require up to 20% domestic and/or international travel to other sites and locations

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$150,000.00 - $258,750.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation –120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year

Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days

Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year

Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
