Description

The Director of Analyst Relations plays a pivotal strategic role within Tyler. This individual is tasked with establishing, managing, and enhancing our relationships with key technology analysts and research firms such as Gartner, Forrester, The Center for Digital Government, and others.

A significant part of this role involves collaborating closely with Tyler corporate and division leaders, product owners, and heads of marketing, to ensure our product offerings, technological innovations, and unique value propositions are accurately conveyed to, and covered by, the analyst community. The individual will also work to ensure relevant insights from the analyst community are shared with our teams so we can factor these learnings to our go-to-market efforts. Through effective management of these relationships, the Director of Analyst Relations will play a crucial role in informing, refining, and aligning messaging across the company and its various divisions. This alignment is essential for ensuring that our company is accurately and favorably represented in industry analyses, reports, and recommendations, thereby influencing our market positioning, and supporting our business growth objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive analyst relations strategy that aligns with Tyler's long-term strategic goals and market positioning.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to convey the importance of the analyst relations program and to secure appropriate levels of support to effectively engage with the analyst community.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Tyler and technology analysts and research firms, managing all aspects of engagement, communication, and feedback.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including division and corporate leaders, and product owners, to gather insights, updates, and strategic directions to share with the analyst community, and to share analyst insights and guidance with internal stakeholders.
  • Influence analyst perceptions and reports through effective messaging and engagements, aiming to improve our visibility and positioning in key research reports.
  • Establish a program to monitor and enhance Tyler's presence on third-party software review sites. This includes creating a toolkit to enable vertical marketing teams to encourage clients to post positive reviews of our software.
  • Measure and report on the impact of analyst relations activities on our business, adjusting strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field. A master's degree is a plus.
    Minimum of 8 years of experience in analyst relations, public relations, or a similar role within the technology sector, preferably with exposure to government clients.


  • Established relationships with key technology analysts and research firms.


  • In-depth understanding of the technology sector, with the ability to grasp and articulate complex technical products and solutions.


  • Experience working closely with senior leadership and technical teams to gather insights and translate them into compelling narratives for an analyst audience
